"Our family got together from three different states to enjoy a week together at this beautiful house. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to renting again! The house is spacious and well cared for. Our group of 6 adults and 1 child had plenty of space inside and out. The view from the lake is amazing. We spent our days fishing, swimming, and boating. We were fortunately to be able to meet Duane who was in town and he was a gracious host. We enjoyed the house so much we only ventured out once, having a lunch in Middlebury which is a wonderful little town. I hope we are able to return next summer!"

"Two couples met for a week's summer vacation in Vermont, using the Killington Ski House as our base. We did day trips each day, cooked meals, used the gas grill several times and just relaxed and enjoyed some much needed down time together. The living room was perfect for us as there are 3 comfy couches. The beds were nice, too. We enjoyed the local market and Picarello's Pizza in Pittsfield, the World's Best Breakfast at the Swiss Farm Inn and Tozier's restaurant in Bethal. All are musts if you're staying at the ski house. Thanks for a fun vacation spot, Lori."

"This propery was exactly as described! The view of the lake is stunning and since it is marshy at the end where the house is located the lake side of the house is very peaceful. The numerous windows on the lakeside let in tons of light and were great for bird watching.
The traffic from the road is rather loud (especially the occasional tractor trailers!)but after a day full of outdoor activity we slept very well!
We had two elderly dogs with us and appreciated the owners willingness to let us bring our furry friends. One word of warning on that...the floors are painted wood which is great for keeping things clean, but lacks the traction needed by old, big dogs. More than once my German Shorthaired Pointer fell and couldn't get up without assistance.
The kitchen is wonderfully equipped. Using the washing machine is tricky, but once you realize that the door is finicky it works like a charm and it was great to have!
Overall a great place to stay in a central location!"

"Got back to our " home away from home" after having to miss it last year with some personal problems and it was better than ever! My wife and I and the 3 dogs had a great time and plenty of room for my daughter,my son and his wife and even my sister came up for a few days. The weather was up and down for the 12 days, ranging from 35 one day to 81 on Oct.14th,amazing! We did everything we wanted to do and then some. Thank you to Ed and Linda for being such wonderful people. Save me a spot for next year my friend.......Val and Linda Caruso. Hamden,Ct."
