"My first time renting on VRBO didn't disappoint. I did my homework on the area and the many houses that surrounded it and I settled on Donna's. Ladies and gentleman, this house is perfect in so many ways. Pictures cannot due justice of just how much room the house actually has. I had 13 people all between the ages of 24-31 stay in the house. It fit everyone comfortably with no issues. The "Great Room" (Shuffleboard, fireplace, etc.) was the place my crew and I spent the most time. Also, brand new for December 2014 is a state of the art hot tub. We fit 6 people comfortably in there. We incorporated family dinners every night as well and with top notch appliances (Viking Stove, Bosh dishwasher + Bosh laundry units), everything was easy. Sugarbush Ski Resort is 1/4 away along with any other hidden gems. Upon reservation completion, Donna sends you a list of spots (restaurants, bars and activities) incase you have never been here. I visited the the "Castlerock Pub" and "Timbers"…both great spots at the resort right down then street. I have been here before before so my crew and I also hiked some trails near Blueberry Lake and stopped at the Warren waterfalls. With a nice cozy house and fire every night, this weekend was a perfect weekend getaway for my crew and I from Boston, MA. Will rent again! Thanks Donna."

"Over the past 6 summers we have rented houses in Peru and South Londonderry; this Landgrove house is the best, by far. Sitting on the porch at any point in the day or evening was serene. The vista changes with the light, making it endlessly watchable. The house was the perfect size for us, comfortable and well-appointed with everything needed. Of all the houses we've rented, this house had the easiest-to-use outdoor grill, tv, dvd player, dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, and wifi. From experience, we expected issues with all of these and had none. The location in Landgrove was convenient for everything we wanted to do- ice cream in Weston, breakfast in Chester, Bromley, Magic Mountain, shopping in Manchester- not to mention delightful walks right out the door.
Having six cows with their 2 month old calves out back was best of all. Unlike my family, I'm not an animal fanatic but I grew to eagerly look for what they were up to and was charmed watching the little ones run and play. The mooed occasionally; I wished they mooed more often. There was zero smell, a concern I had. The perfect nature show.
I recommend this house without reservation and am eager to return."

"We spent a few days here and had a great time overall. Really appreciated the kitchenette and deep tub in the room, and free valet parking along with access to the lodge's outdoor jacuzzi were nice perks! Gas fireplace in room added extra warmth whenever we came inside too.
The room is directly in front of the Over-easy gondola so it gets a little noisy at 7am, but we were in town for winter sports so it served as a helpful back-up alarm. Overall it was a very nice spot, a great value, and a good vacation. Thank you!"

"Wow! What a wonderful place! Description was everything stated and then some. Have to give this vacation spot a 10 out of 10, even though Home Away only has a 5 point system. Immaculate, every thing as described. Would just caution a person with stair difficulty to be weary of this home. As picture depicts, home is up on a hill from the parking area and has a spiral staircase to bedrooms. Listening to the water fall and the babbling brook were relaxing and walking about the pond was great. Owners family is near by and offered wonderful advice about the area and did a quick check in to see if everything was okay. If you want a place to rest and truly relax, this is the one for you. Woodstock is within a 10 - 15 minute drive so there is plenty to do in the area if you choose. It was nice to have a combination of a quiet, restful place and availability to get out and shop, visit a maple syrup farm and take a stroll in Quechee Gorge. Will try to be make it back sometime in the winter for some snowmobiling, skiing or just another respite. Thank you for sharing your home!"
