"My wife, 2 kids and I stayed at this house for the Christmas week to enjoy the skiing at nearby Okemo and Killington - both about 30-40min away. We could not have been happier and more comfortable! First and foremost, the house is beautiful. While the pictures on this page are nice they don't compare to the real thing - plenty of space for the 4 of us, great views of mountains, newly renovated, comfy living room with fireplace (perfect after skiing), very high valted ceiling - felt like a chalet in the Swiss mountains. We were happily surprised to find a lot of treats/holiday decor upon arrival. Lastly, Carolyn and Chris are really great people - very accommodating, available and with lots of great ideas, tips, ski advice, etc. - We were very happy and will be coming back."

"The pictures do not do justice to this lovely home. The rooms are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked. (love that coffee maker). The gardens and grounds are so beautiful and well-maintained. Wish I was back in that porch hammock. Thanks Lisa and Mike."

"This property is truly amazing. The views are incredible. The amazing rock formation/ledge behind the house is so unique and provides the most wonderful place to enjoy the serenity of the Lake Champlain. The view of the Palisades is also just to the right and was an unexpected and delightful surprise. You can even make out the waterfalls! The house itself is of course, very old, and with that comes some of what you'd expect in a more mature dwelling. Don't expect typical modern conveniences (like lots of outlets or a totally bug free place--you're on the water after all at a lake house!) The bathrooms are pretty dated too. Overall, the home was quaint and nice-- although, it's second place compared to the 1st place views offered here. You should note that at the time of this writing, the guest cottage uses lake water (unlike the main house) so our family who stayed there bought bottled water to drink. Overall, a great trip! The views will remain in my memory forever!"

"The house was great! Awesome location and well equipped with everything necessary for a ski weekend. Hot tub is well maintained and in great condition. Beds were all comfortable and the house was very clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this house! The owner is very flexible, and easy to work with. She is very prompt with responses and returned the security deposit quickly."
