  • Great slope-side condo and fantastic, attentive owner

"We've been renting this property for the last 10 years, mostly during February vacation. This property is so popular that we have to reserve in the summer. I hope this review won't make it too much worse. When we decide to come to Jay we always check with these owners first. We've stayed as 4 and as many as 8 people and it was a pleasure every time. Jay Peak is a wonderful mountain (one of us loves the cross-country trails, too), the condo is slope-side and could not be better supplied or maintained. I found the owners to be friendly and helpful; they clearly take pride in making sure we are happy and informed and get the most out of our stay. All transactions were simple and efficient, without any surprises. We really love the place and recommend wholeheartedly."

  • Wonderful VT Home!!!

"We were in Vermont for one of our son's wedding and we found the perfect place for the 10 of us to stay! This cabin was so amazing! It was even more wonderful than the pictures showed. The property was very clean and there was plenty of information for us upon our arrival. We could not have asked for a better set up. One really important thing about this property is that it is handicap accessible. One of my sisters ended up having to use a wheelchair and the ramp in the garage made it so she could still come and stay with us. We could not believe how much space we had. The basement was very surprising to us! There was just so much room. I could imagine that there could be times that the second kitchen in the basement would be very handy for the right situation. There were plenty of linens and towels in the well stocked linen closets. The kitchen was also well stocked. I was very impressed with the open communication with Rob, the owner, as well. I spoke with him on the phone as well as using email. He was very quick to respond to any question I had which I appreciated so much. The wedding took place at The Old Gray Barn which was about a 20-25 minute drive from the cabin. We ate one meal at Mulligans and one at Cilantro which are both in Manchester. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who might be looking to stay in this area! It will definitely be part of our memories from the wedding."

  • Fun Family Vacation

"We had a wonderful first time visit to Stowe with our family. The condo was comfortable and clean, and conveniently located. We brought bikes and ended up biking everywhere, to the river, to restaurants. Very bike friendly town and excellent food! Night time riding with headlamps was a hoot. Love all the bridges! We hiked Mt. Mansfield, went to 2 water parks, and did the spooky guided lantern tour. Lots of fun!"

  • Great house, great location!

"A group of 11 recently drove up from NJ to go to Mt Snow and we all had a great time staying here! The house is more spacious than I expected from the pictures (had no idea there's 3 floors!), and everything was very clean and tidy upon our arrival. The location is excellent, too - just a quick trip down the road to a grocery store, a 711/gas station, ski and snowboard shops, and Mt Snow. The hot tub on the deck was awesome, and there's also a charcoal grill out there that I didn't know about. We packed a grill-pan to make burgers on the stove, but in the future now know we could just bring charcoal. Long story short, the house had everything described and then some. I only have one very small suggestion, and that would be to put some hooks on the backs of the bedroom doors so there's more places to hang wet towels or clothes. With 11 of us, there was only so many places to put our towels to dry! We all had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay, and will be looking to book a trip here again next year!"
