"My husband and I, together with our two boys (ages 2.5 and 3 mos.), sister and brother-in-law had a wonderful time at the condo over Columbus Day weekend. We are not big skiers, but we traveled to Killington from the Boston area to do some hiking during peak foliage. Barbara made the process very easy and really went above and beyond to ensure that we had an excellent experience. She even set out a bottle of wine and prepared a fire for us!! After three hours in the car with a toddler and an infant, we really appreciated all of the little extras. The condo itself was in beautiful condition, very clean and cozy. It was beautiful waking up to the mountains and the fireplace was gorgeous. The condo had everything we needed from linens and towels to cooking supplies. Again, it was wonderfully maintained. The beds were so incredibly comfortable, and the carpets were in new condition. It was perfect for two couples and our children because we were able to stay upstairs with the boys. We had our own bedroom / bathroom, and my sister / brother-in-law had their own space downstairs with their own bathroom. The condo was very easy to find as we received good directions and used our GPS. Plus, it was located near (10 min. drive) a grocery store, the Killington Market, which was very convenient. It was also close (within a half hour drive) to Bucklin Trail, so we were able to hike Mt. Killington (our 49th New England 4,000+ footer!!). There were lots of restaurants open, even in the off-season. We tried Charity's, the Lookout, and the Liquid Art Coffee House. All were good! Our toddler enjoyed "hiking" and playing right outside the condo and along the trails on the property. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Killington area either, even though we visited during the off-season. The Bucklin Trail was beautifully maintained, and we had a terrific lunch at Peak Lodge at the summit. I highly recommend this condo and would definitely rent again!!"

"A group of buddies and I do a yearly trip to rotating destinations all over New England...I came across this cabin in Stratton and I'm happy I did. Great communication with the owner to address any questions about the house. Also, the house is completely as advertised and presented on VRBO. Great views from the large back yard and our group had a great time using the pitch and putt + fire pit. The place is also very clean and in good condition...def recommend this rental."

"My family and I recently stayed at this lovely condo. Three areas of concern to us are cleanliness, convenience and activities. Let's not forget fun too! All of these areas were covered. The condo is kept in great shape. We have young children and cooking in is no problem with the well furnished kitchen. Don't like to cook: You can access convenient on property dining (and a Ben and Jerry's!) or go off property to one of the many restaurants in Stowe or the Smugglers area. In the morning, you can sit outside on the deck, have your coffee and watch the sun come up over the beautiful mountains! Location is great. There are many activities for your kids to participate in; great pools, fun zone, etc. There is tennis, mini golf, hikiing and other activities. It's located right near the famous "Long Trail" that runs from Canada to Massachusetts. Hikes range from 10 minutes to hours if you want to. Amazing waterfalls are nearby as well. We just had a fantastic week!"

"A friend and I booked this cottage for a girls' getaway and a weekend of relaxation. We found it to be centrally located for all our outings in Waitsfield and Waterbury. The beds, sheets, pillows, and blankets are so cozy and comfortable -- I had the best night's sleep in a long time. For city folk, be prepared to be greeted by chickens on the front porch and hear them clucking away outside. As someone who grew up visiting my grandparents' farm, it brought me right back to my childhood. It was warm enough that we took a quick dip in the neighboring river and managed to: Have breakfast at The Big Picture Theater (top 5 breakfasts of my LIFE -- a must!), flea and farmer's markets in Waitsfield (a must if you are only there for the weekend and want to sample the local flavors and arts), the Ben & Jerry's factory, Cabot Annex and nearby distillery, Cider House & wine shop, antique shops, before ending our night at the cottage doing manicures and watching Harry Potter. Such a wonderfully relaxing weekend! Would love to come back in the fall for hiking or the winter for skiing! Pat was so kind, very responsive, and gave us a call to let us know my friend left her sweatshirt and had it ready when we came back around to retrieve it."
