  • Private, big backyard & deck, lot of space

"This place was excellent for our mountain bike trip. Enough beds for 11 people. Close to Cady Hill trails and Stowe Village. Private place and wonderful backyard, enjoy the sunset in the hot tub or on the deck. Appliances are a little outdated but worked well."

  • Great price with breathtaking views from Route 9

"I recently stayed here with my husband and 3 sisters for a weekend trip to Vermont. We planned this trip to be able to go to Keene PumpkinFest. The best feautures of this property is the house itself. Very much modern, with every amenity you could ask for. The hot tub was a great feature and the house is fully stocked with spices, dishes, blankets, plates, dishes etc. The owner has great communication and this was an overall great stay!! The only downside was the location. We are not skiers so this was very far out from Brattleboro (30mins via Route 9) and Keene (60 minutes via Route 9). The landscapes we saw on route 9 was amazing and make sure you stop at Hogback Mountain scenic outlook on the way to this property!!! I am a diehard coffee addict and it was dissapointing to drive 30 minutes one way to Dunkins or Cumberland Farms for the morning coffee (we still did it though!!!) Best day was walking through the Wilmington shops and stopping for a hot chocolate at Dots (don't recommend breakfast or dinner, we ate there 3 times and 2 times was dissappointing). You will also find it hard to find via GPS so follow the instructions from the owner on how to get there. This property was located right on hole 3 on Haystack Gold Course. What a beautiful view in the morning when the sun comes up over the green, can't beat it!!! Upstairs beds were comfy and had one small TV and the Master bed was very uncomfortable to sleep in (my husband and I are used to our King Bed so we were cramped a bit). No TV in the Master and we could not figure out how to get a radio station. Not a big deal, just something to consider. Would like to see an AUX jack to hook up smartphones for music, just a suggestion. Overall, this place is a great value and also great for a family Vermont vacation. I would definately stay again, awesome Vermont experience!!!"

  • COZY COTTAGE

"LOVED, LOVED, LOVED my stay at your cottage! Your description said it all - "rustic in a Vermont way". It was neat, clean and I felt very relaxed from my first step inside. When I walked onto the porch I immediately claimed the bed which became my favorite spot to do some reading. The dock was sturdy and spacious and my dog and I spent many hours there just watching the activity on the water. Saw tons of birds, a beaver several nights as well as daily visits from three ducks and, of course, the loons. I think I have found the perfect spot for my future summer vacations!"
