"August 2014: We love The Ridge (have rented in the community a few times before) for the views, the quiet, and the space flexibility. This is our first time with this unit and the property headline is very accurate. Because this is an end unit, and particularly due to its siting in relation to the next group of units, it offers an exceptionally broad view as well as the extra natural light.
The property is very clean, nicely furnished and very well stocked (pots & pans, cooking utensils, serving pieces, plates & silverware, and sheets and towels), reflecting that the unit is not a full time rental.
We are a small family with one 10 year old daughter who occasionally had a friend visit. There was also a third bedroom with its own bath for the occasions when we had a couple visit for the weekend or for a few days. Although the unit isn't exceptionally large in square footage, there was plenty of space for all. The main floor living/dining/kitchen areas feel spacious due to the high ceilings.
There are plenty of instructions in the unit about how things work and things to do in the area. The owners are very accessible, helpful, and accommodating.
The Ridge has a quiet pool with a view as well. It's a nice feature for families as children (and adults) like to use it in between doing other activities or for quiet relaxation."

"My husband, son, and I rented this adorable house for MLK weekend with my sister, brother-in-law, and her two kids. The place was perfect: close enough to a variety of ski resorts that it wasn't a chore to get anywhere, and three levels of space in the house. The kids loved being in the loft and had a ball up there. My sister and I had plenty of room in the kitchen for all of the food we brought up, and the wonderful fireplace was a hit with everyone. Ski conditions at Okemo were phenomenal on Saturday. The rain meant Sunday was a washout, so we had fun with all of the games and puzzles that were provided in the house. We would definitely rent this place again :)"

"My husband and I, our two kids (3 and 5 years old) and our dog all stayed very comfortably in the house. It's very clean, well appointed with everything you would need in the kitchen, a great little pool table, and a DVD collection that has something for everyone. We had a lot of fun just walking around the area, checking out the waterfall and "hiking" up the road. The view from the house is beautiful and there is a great deck. Eric and Judy were also very responsive and flexible with our stay. It was great, and we're about to book to go back again!"

"My family and I rented this amazing home for a long-weekend getaway. Let me just say - the pictures do not do it justice. It is an absolutely stunning place to stay. It was everything we wanted our "Vermont Country Home" to be. The large kitchen (with all new appliances) and open floor plan allowed my husband and I to cook dinner while we entertained our guests. Afterwards, we all enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace - and all the wood we needed was ready for us, including extra on the screened-in porch.
The upstairs master bedroom also has a futon for extra sleeping space and there is AMPLE storage space for clothes, equipment, etc in all rooms. The upstairs master bathroom - with an awesome steam shower and soaking tub - were just what we needed to relax after a day of skiing.
You will need an AWD/4WD vehicle to access the property in the winter and spring. The road leading to the driveway is not paved - nor is the driveway itself. (But, really, I think unpaved roads outnumber paved roads in Vermont!)
The home is only about a 5-10 minute drive from Stratton and maybe 15 - 20 minutes to Mt. Snow. We skied almost every day we were there.
I cannot wait to rent this lovely home again next season!"
