  • Cozy and Serene

"5 of us came up from DC to spend a long weekend touring VT breweries and enjoying the autumn glory of Vermont, and this cabin was a wonderful home for us. Plenty of firewood, wifi (that made the lack of cell signal unimportant), beautiful view and removed from everything, but also a 12-15 minute drive into Waterbury for delicious food and local brews. John was very helpful and responsive despite being on vacation and kind for allowing for a late check out. Also the beds are super comfortable, and the cabin is well stocked with the desired accoutrements. Description and pictures are accurate. Feels like an authentic cozy Vermont mountain cottage. We would easily stay here again! Waterbury must-go brew pubs and restaurants (best VT beer selection in state): Prohibition Pig (great bbq and beer), The Reservoir, Blackback pub, probably a few other places we didn't try. Short drive to grocery, Ben and Jerry's Factory, apple cider mill."

  • Very nice accommodations

"Apartment must have been recently completely renovated. Everything is new: new appliances, new furniture, new carpet, new woodwork. Convenient location for skiing Killington. Heat, showers, TV was fine. The only minor improvement would be to have better inside lighting -- the apartment is a bit dark."

  • Perfect spot for a group trip

"I came up with a group of 15 for a long weekend over new years and this house was the perfect place for a big group gathering. It's enormous, there were far more beds than we used. The kitchen and living areas are bigger than they appear in photos. The house is very well stocked -- the kitchen is great and the property is awesome. There's a firepit next to the hot tub which was SO much fun -- everyone could be having fun outside at the same time, and sharp rivalries developed between the group in the hot tub and the hardcore cold-lovers by the firepit ;). And the area truly has something for everyone -- Mad River and Sugarbush feel like they're just around the corner. There's masses of cross country skiing, and for hiking, there's an access to the Long Trail ten minutes drive from the house. We loved it. Overall the house is in great condition (a friend with a very severe mold allergy had trouble in the basement, but felt fine in the rest of the house), and it's a total bargain for the number of people it fits, all the amenities, and being so close to skiing!"

  • Just perfect!

"Our family just concluded a stay at this lovely home, over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We could not have asked for more! It was comfy, and we felt right at home, yet it had all of the extras that we needed. Luxe towels and comfortable bedding, all of the kitchen needs, and our dogs were welcome. Plenty of room for our family of 6, three bathrooms were great to have, and the sleeping arrangements were perfect! We enjoyed the view of the mountains, the fireplace and the overall location. Very convenient to everything in Stowe. Sarah, the owner could not have been more helpful, and kind. She arranged a wonderful courtesy involving their caretaker, Mike, and our Thanksgiving meal. Nothing disappointed, it was even better than we had hoped, it really had everything for a comfortable stay. It is such a pleasure to be there, we have many happy memories of gathering our grown children and those still at home for a wonderful holiday getaway at this sweet property. Trust me, this one will not disappoint! There are many great restaurants nearby, but most of all we enjoyed the luxury of leisurely low key meals as a family in this well appointed home. Thank you for sharing your home with our family, it was the perfect rental for our needs. Could not have asked for more!"
