"Our church group had a retreat at this house, and it was the perfect spot for our group of 20 people. The gurgling stream right outside the back door was calming and relaxing...we truly enjoyed the sounds of nature. It was serene and peaceful. The surrounding fall foliage was beautiful."

"Excellent property with a deep wrap around porch which provides excellent views
and makes for yet another common area which were important for meeting places for
a family reunion. We loved the hike to the creek for wading and the walk to the country
store. We stayed in Doc B at the end of the hall which made it quiet. We could have used a
some hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothes and towels. Some hooks on the wardrobe to the left of the sink would improve also. The mattress on the double bed was soft and sank in the middle."

"The house was perfect for our family. Quechee area is beautiful with lots of activities. We hiked, cycled, played golf and used the fitness center and pool facilities of the nearby Quechee Club for a nominal fee. We also took a Segway tour which was terrific. The house had everything we needed, wi-fi, big TV, large deck, fireplace, etc. It was clean and had a nice country feel to it. We plan to rent this house again. All communications with owner were friendly and all our questions were answered promptly."

"In July, 2015 nine women graduates of a small liberal arts college in the Midwest (Central College, Pella, Iowa) gathered for a week at Barney Point to celebrate fifty years of friendship. The house was perfect!....long table on a screened-in porch for lobster dinners, large kitchen island for lingering over coffee and breakfast and a beautiful lawn with comfortable seating and a fire pit for enjoying gorgeous views of Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks, and sunsets. We spent many hours on the lawn sharing memories and the joys and trials of our lives. We enjoyed Lake Champlain for kayaking and swimming, the bike path for biking and walking, and proximity to Burlington, Shelburne and other places of interest in this part of Vermont. It was a perfect week! Thank you, MacKenzie family, for sharing your treasured “camp.”"
