  • wonderful Vermont setting

"We stayed here for about ten days during the summer. A lovely cottage and Pat and Scott are equally so! The cottage is just the right size for a couple and with an extra bedroom so we had friends stay for the weekend. We had a great time hiking, cooking, and making day trips around Vermont. The cottage is much closer to the main house than expected, but even so, it feels like the cottage is your own home. A beautiful place to stay and I highly recommend it for anyone who can amuse themselves and are looking for a little R&R."

  • Great Labor Day Weekend

"Great lake views, cute little cottage. Water was great for swimming, lounging, and fishing. We didn't have a boat, but there is a boat rental close by. Everything you need is at the cottage: grill, microwave, stove, fridge, floating things for the water, board games, TV/internet, etc. There are only twin beds, which is a negative, and they are not really able to be squeezed together because of the layout of the rooms. Water in the plumbing is not for drinking or cooking, however some drinking water is supplied and was enough for two people for the entire weekend of cooking and making drinks and coffee. Not really a big deal. I would visit again (and give 5 stars) if the rooms were changed to allow a queen bed (supporting posts split the bedrooms). Besides the sleeping arrangements, this place was very charming and we had a great time."

"Perfect place for our Team to stay for our Spartan Beast event. The great combination of rustic lodge with all the comforts of home and a great country store just down the street to stock up on supplies and get a great breakfast sandwich too!"

  • Fantastic Unit for My family and the Canadian Break

"I was in a unit with enough beds for my 3 kids, husband and my sister family (3). My family and I enjoyed this place, with beautiful wood burning fireplace, cozy kitchen with all the appliances, dinnerware, silverware and everything we needed to cook there. I totally enjoyed the hot tub, so nice and perfect temperature. Ski on ski off maintained everyday, and it was nice to be there after a great day in the mountain. My kids were able to play in the backyard with the snow & snowshoes. Great Location to ski - green easy trail. I just Loved it! We just booked for next year because they sell out very quick. Thank you for the great experience!"
