"This was a great up kept property at beautiful Stowe Mountain. Owner left us everything we would need for our stay. Excellent views of the mountain from the living room and master bed room. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"This March, my boyfriend and I went up to Stowe for a long weekend. Getting away from the city was amazing, and this house made it even better. It is secluded in the woods, yet also close to the village and a number of surrounding attractions. This house is perfect for all ages. As college students, we loved the huge flat screen TV and hot tub, and the wide variety of DVDs and board games make the house ideal for families and guests of all ages. We loved going skiing this winter, and my boyfriend and I cannot wait to stay in this house during the other seasons! Stowe is a beautiful town, this house is the perfect combination of relaxation and entertainment, and we will definitely be back soon!"

"What a great place, in a great spot! The description & pictures are very accurate displaying this great house to enjoy! We had the chance to get away for a few days with our young adult son, who lives out of state and our daughter who is on a break from medical school and were looking for a place where we could enjoy eachother's company and also have a place to just find a quiet spot and relax, which we all needed and we found it all here! Sitting in the adirondack chairs reading a book while seeing the lake was so relaxing, or just taking a nap in the hammock, a perfect vacation day! We enjoyed the great yard & just watching the sunset over the lake and the Adirondacks was beautiful.
It was wonderful having the bikes available & we had a great time riding out on the bike trail toward the bike ferry, another beautiful spot just being right there in the middle of the lake! We also enjoyed the kayaks & rowboat which were a lot of fun. It was perfect to have everything you needed at the house already, from all the firewood, bed linens and towels to anything you could think of in the kitchen to prepare meals & all you needed to do was pick up groceries which was just a quick ride into town, everything else you needed was already there (and very clean too!) We enjoyed our evenings by the fireplace and enjoyed the games there too, all adding to the great experience of being together.
The location here is convenient to Essex where we surprised the kids with a hot air balloon ride with Above Reality, another way of enjoying the beauty of this great area!
I can't say enough of how nice & easy it was to arrange everything for the house with Burt. We were highly satisfied with our experience at the camp & highly recommend to anyone else who has the chance to go!"

"This house was as described and had plenty of room for our 19 person bachelor party, including parking, sleeping, dining and leisure space. Although the owner was very accommodating and easy to communicate with, the rental process was a bit more cumbersome than others I have encountered. Be prepared to pay the entirety of the rental fee and deposit several months before your group actually visits, as well as provide copies of your drivers licenses, and overnight all paperwork via FedEx. I understand this is because the owner is out of state and wants to make sure all the "ducks are in a row", but I found the steps to rent inconvenient and hard to coordinate for a large non-family group. That having been said, the owner was fair and up front about these policies and very responsive to any inquiries we had along the way. He provided many suggestions for activities in the area, and it was clear he had actually used and enjoyed the house himself. He gave us a more reasonable rate since we went in May, and the Killington scene was different than its most popular winter season. I think the house would be great to rent as a winter ski rental as well, as it is right on the access road and the driveway would not be bad in winter conditions. The hot tub (we only rented one but there are two that seem the same) was quite large and clean, and we used it even though it was pretty warm out because it was of such high quality. I have to say that the coolest part of the house is the photos of the owner climbing trees with lions though. I would definitely consider staying here again."
