Great Spring Break
"We stayed in the perfect home with 3 families. The 12 of us had plenty of room. Adults had their space upstairs and the kids had their space downstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed including a good coffeemaker. 2 of the 3 families had never been to Jay and loved the access to the mountain out the back door as well as the restaurants and water park. The hot tub was very clean as was the whole house. The radient heat in the ski room is a nice touch."

"This was a last minute booking when the snow started to fall late April at Jay Peak. As a family we were not done skiing if there was a chance for fresh powder! With it being so late in the season, we looked at the actual resort. But out of loyalty to VBBO and the fact that we always book this way, we also reached out about this condo. Susie responded right away and we managed to complete the booking within an hour. We drove 4.5 hours and checked in that night! The condo was fully prepped for us and very clean. It is a great size, with plenty of room and two full bathrooms. The living room is large and the dining area was huge! There are upgraded appliances including a gas stove, fridge with automatic ice maker and water dispenser and an above average dish washer (not basic like most condos). This is as close as it gets to true ski in/ski out. We were right on the side of Grammy Jay. With the ski locker at the front door, we literally walked 10 feet, snapped on the skis and then ran down to the village chair. At lunch or the end of the day, our kids loved going over the ski bridge to get back to the Condo. This condo is not really within quick walking distance of the base lodge, ice rink and water park. but its a very short drive away. (or a quick ski!) It did not matter to us though, we popped down with the kids quickly, there is plenty of free parking and we were there primarily to ski. And man was the skiing amazing. Overall, a great experience. We will look to book this one again."

"Immaculate. Well maintained. Comfortable. Excellent ski-in, ski-out, on a fully groomed trail (with snow-making!) Everyone in our group wanted to meet back at the condo for lunch which was (literally) a piece of cake. And FYI, when other ski areas have given up for the season, this one does an excellent job of grooming their late season snow. I suspect they work as hard on their early season snow-making. We give four thumbs up to this condo."

"The StromHaus supplied our group with a wonderful place to stay during our weekend at Jay Peak. It was perfect for 3 couples, a toddler and two dogs to stay without feeling over crowded. The proximity to the mountain was the best and dinner at Jay Village Inn completely exceeded our expectations.
The only upgrades I would suggest are:
Better mattresses on the sofa beds and a TV in the common area upstairs. We were there for only two nights so it was not a huge deal but those mattresses could use some cushion.
We will be back!"
