  • Great Girls Weekend

"You will not be disappointed with this accommodation. This condo is clean, well appointed and convenient to Killington. It was in a quiet development just off the access road. The well stocked kitchen lent itself to eating in. The wood-burning fireplace was a cozy addition. We were a group of three women attending a PSIA event early season and rather than three hotel rooms opted for this condo. Everything was great. The owner responses were timely and informative and everything went as smooth as it could go. Thank you!"

  • Nice Home

"The home was located just past the gondola, and with a little OB skiing & some good map awareness, you can pretty much ski-in & out. We liked the open floor plan and the home worked nicely for our group."

  • Charming Condo Conscientious Owner

"My wife, two sons (ages 8 and 12) and nephew (also 12) enjoyed almost a week of great skiing in this lovingly cared for condo. We were able to ski out and ski in from a short walk to the front of the building and an easy glide to the Sunrise ski lift. The condos in the Sunrise area are classic 1980s with a modern design. This unit is sunny and bright and has an updated kitchen, which we used every morning to cook huge breakfasts. New appliances, great pots and pans, colanders, mixing bowls, baking sheet, coffee maker (and filters), teapot, toaster, razor sharp knives and all the incidentals you might need like olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, some spices too. The living area was very comfortable with a deep couch and chair to relax your tired bones in, new TV with cable. We lit a fire one night and wished we'd used it every night. The boys shared the two bedrooms upstairs between them. There was an over/under washer/dryer unit upstairs that we used to dry wet gloves and bathing suits. The bathrooms had soaps, toothpaste and thick cotton towels. Bedrooms were tidy and warm with extra blankets and pillows. We took full advantage of the Sunrise Village sports center, which has an indoor pool and hot tub as well as an outdoor hot tub. It's a short drive from the condo, but the boys loved it every day and I soaked my sore muscles in the hot water and sat in the sauna. The owners are very attentive and thoughtful. You're not likely to find someone as conscientious and responsive. Would highly recommend staying at this property."

  • Excellent Value and Location

"Used this condo for a spring ski trip with my two 9 year old children. You can't beat the value of this condo for its quality and location. The building is a bit dated but its clean, the staff is friendly, and has good amenities (pool, hot tubs, market, ski rental, bar). The ski rental place, Black dog sports, is great, reasonably priced with a very friendly staff. The unit itself is nice and is perfect if you have kids. Four adults might be a little tough as the pull out might not make for the best adult sleeping situation. Dealing with the owner was a breeze and the security deposit was promptly refunded. I will definitely try to stay here on my next trip to Killington."

Killington Travel Tips

Picture cascading mountains covered in fresh, powder-white snow towering over a lovely little town filled with welcoming smiles and warm hospitality. Sounds like a postcard, but Killington brings it to life, and you can experience it for yourself.

Killington is a cozy town snuggled in Rutland County, Vt., and features seven stunning mountains, making it one of the most sought after ski destinations in New England. You'll find some of the highest and most varied terrain here covering more than 90 miles. When the weather warms up, there's still plenty to do for outdoor enthusiasts. Killington also offers a plethora of biking and hiking trails to enjoy when the snow melts.

Golfers will appreciate the two PGA courses here with 12 others just a short drive from town. And with scenic beauty around every turn, it's a great place to take a long drive or walk around. When you're ready to venture back inside, head to a local restaurant for a hot, delicious meal or check out the opportunities to see live artistic performances as well as attractions where you can learn more about this quaint village's history and culture.

There are also six terrain parks with more than 50 features, including two pipes, so boarders can practice tricks to their heart's' content. - New England Maple Museum: Vermont is known for its delicious maple syrup, so it's worth taking a short drive to Pittsford from Killington to visit the New England Maple Museum. It's nestled into the foothills of the Green Mountains where the best syrup is made. As you explore the museum you'll move through more than 200 years of maple sugaring history, beginning when Native Americans learned that map sap cooked over fire created a sweet treat. The museum also features the most complete collections of sugaring artifacts in the world. After the tour, be sure to stop in the gift shop to stock up on all things maple flavored.

- Mountain Muse Massage Therapy: After days filled with skiing or snowboarding, you're body will surely need a break. Treat your tired, achy muscles to a little pampering at Mountain Muse Massage Therapy. You'll find an espresso bar with specialty coffee that's perfect for waking you up in the morning, and the shop also serves small breakfast items and snacks in case you're a little hungry. After a quick bite, peruse the paintings, jewelry, pottery and more that's all for sale.
