"Absolutely stunning! The cabin was adorable and had everything we needed! As everyone has already said, the views from the porch are just incredible. We watched the crazy hummingbirds, heard loons every day, saw a pileated woodpecker multiple times hanging out in the yard. It was so difficult to get off of the hammock swing to actually even do anything.
When we did manage to haul ourselves out of that swing we went hiking with the dogs on the trails that are located practically in the back-yard. Found some really cool random artwork along the trails. We hit Woodstock and did some shopping. Canoed on Lake Morey and caught a bunch of fish.
The only negative was that it was far too short of a stay!
Thank you so much Mike!"

"My family of 4 stayed at Valery and Louis' house for a second time. It's a cozy, sweet old house that really feels like home. The owners are very accessible and responsive and the caretaker is right down the street and always available if there are issues. The house has a lot of character and was a perfect place to call home while we skied and snowboarded at Stratton."

"We are a young couple who chose this property to stay at for our last runs of the season at Mount Snowa to celebrate Easter away from home! What a cozy place to stay! It was so warm and inviting inside after a long day of skiing. The hot tub was also perfect and well maintained. There was also a lot of utensils and cooking supplies so we didn't even need to consider ordering in/dining out. The owner was so nice to communicate with and responded to our inquiries very fast.
Our only issue (unrelevant to the specific house) was navigating through Haystack to get to the property. The mud was very deep and hard to push through up hill, making it scary to come back and forth to the house. Thank goodness we had a truck!
Overall, GREAT STAY and we would love to come back for some summer golf and next year,s ski season!!"

"4 couples stayed at this wonderful ski chalet in March and had an amazing stay. The house is tucked back within a beautiful wooded setting and from the outside of the place we knew that it had the rustic charm that we wanted in a vacation house in the mountains. There are 4 bedrooms, 1 downstairs with its own bathroom as well as 3 upstairs. All of the bedrooms had enough room for sleeping, luggage, etc. The water was always hot in the bathrooms and everything was perfectly clean when we arrived. The house is a split-level with two different living room/sitting areas, one near the kitchen/dining area, which had a great wood-burning fire, and the other was up a few stairs and was large and well-equipped with another wood-burning stove, a chest of games, really comfortable couches, and everything that we needed. The internet worked fine and we didn't even try to use the TV but I'm sure that it worked. We had a few questions about a circuit tripping but the caretaker/owner answered pretty quickly. I would highly recommend this house to couples and families, up to probably 8-10 people, who are looking for a charming, ski chalet feel, and who want close proximity to the mountain and stores in town. Thanks again for everything!!"
