"Our family of 12 people with ages ranging from 12 to 82 stayed here and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and the bedrooms were comfortable. There are plenty of spaces to gather as well as spaces to get alone and quiet. The deck is a great place to watch the sunset over the lake, and the kids loved going to the dock and playing in the water right across the street.
It's a great house for a family reunion or for a few families to get together for a vacation."

"Just spent a week at this beautiful spot on Lake Champlain. The views are as spectacular as the description says. This was a very well equipped cottage with everything that you need to make a comfortable stay. Bikes, kayaks and beach chairs were an added bonus as were the comfortable deck chairs. Although we didn't spend a lot of time indoors and rarely turned on the TV, the inside set up was also great with games and Direct TV if wanted. Owner was close by and very accommodating although we didn't need much as pretty much everything we needed was provided. Deck was on the small side but we had guests over most evenings and could comfortably seat 6-8 people while cooking on the nice grill. Our 2 year old lab loved chasing sticks into the lake from the beach. Would absolutely stay here again if the situation was right...have family and friends in the Burlington area so it was a great meeting spot."

"This place is spectacular in the summer and fall. The screened in porch became my go-to spot to relax, enjoy the peaceful view and drink my coffee in the morning. The girls weekend where we enjoyed glasses of wine while sitting by a crackling fire also turned into a lively discussion about how our husbands could enjoy a private boat launch for fishing and guy-time. We are looking forward to a winter trip in the future so we can snowshoe and cross-country ski while enjoying the fireplace in the evenings. Close enough to all the scenic sites in Vermont while being rural enough to really get away and relax."

"All in all, the cottage was just right for us. We loved the sunsets from the deck and had plenty of room. It was cozy and clean. Downsides: the microwave could only be used for 30 seconds at a time without the surge suppressor going off. And then, the last day we planned to relax before leaving, the owner decided to spend several hours mowing and weed whacking. It would have been nice to know or to be asked. Kind of hard to doze off with that kind of noise right outside."
