"My friends and I had a great stay in September, 2014. We had a wedding to attend in nearby Shelburne Farms and the location was perfect. The house had everything we could need. Highly recommend."Guest: G Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 8, 2014View listing
"A group of friends and I rented this house for a weekend of fishing and relaxation and it met both needs with great success. I am from Vermont and know the lake well, so had a good idea of where we wanted to be. This location sits just below the big water, and close to the Otter Creek so it is ideal for smaller boats and good fishing. The house was absolutely immaculate and had all of the little things necessary for a great weekend. The Owners are wonderful people and bent over backward to ensure our stay was a success. All of my questions were answered in a very timely manner, and they even helped us find a place to rent an extra boat. If you are looking for a great place to enjoy Lake Champlain, it doesn’t get much better than this!"Guest: Geoff Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 10, 2014View listing
"This rental is right on Lake Champlain and the view is one of the best views you will ever see in your life - gorgeous sunsets every night! My camera was over-used! After many days of sightseeing, we chose to have dinners at the house because you couldn't find better atmosphere anywhere, even though there were a variety of places to eat nearby! The kitchen was quite large and well stocked with all necessary supplies to cook a variety of dinners - we kept it simple. We fished one day on a chartered small fishing boat and we have never caught so many fish in our lives - VERY LARGE! We caught 40 lbs. of fish! We went into Montreal, saw a cheese factory, Ben & Jerry's, chocolate factory, Sherborne Museum and hit the Fall foliage at its peak! Between the beautiful farms, fields, lakes and mountains, that area is really an escape from any "big city". The house was perfect with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all - who wants to stay in a hotel when you can enjoy the beauty and freedom of a home! I highly recommend it for a great location to see what Vermont has to offer which is a lot! We can't wait to go back next year! (The owner was extremely helpful and available for any questions/problems you might have which is a BIG PLUS - thank you so much!)"Guest: Mary Ann Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 20, 2014View listing
"We had a wonderful time on Savage Island with friends and family. It's your own island....what else do you need? It was the perfect place to get away and relax. The house had everything you could need and Randy, the caretaker, was always available."Guest: Shelly G. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 15, 2014View listing
