  • Wonderful home, area and hosts

"We just completed our week stay at this wonderful log house. The house is immaculate and the yard and plants were just gorgeous. High quality kitchen amenities made our cooking adventures even better. Our hosts were super responsive and made us feel very welcome. The Mad River Valley has a vast array of fun things to do and we ran out of time, before we ran out of activities. We rented Mtn Bikes for the week and rode Blueberry Lake trails, swam in the Mad River, hiked and attended a great music festival. it was hard to leave and we plan to be back next year. I highly recommend this property if you are visiting the area."

  • Great Vacation Home!!

"4 adults from Atlanta Georgia stayed here from Dec 25 to Jan 2nd. It is a wonderful relaxing house complete with the most beautiful view from the deck. The kitchen is well equipt and has all the necessary items and even extras such as spices. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are so very comfortable. The house does have a wood stove but we didn't use it. The road leading to the house was plowed daily so driving wasn't a problem even for those of us that had never driven on snow. There is a shed with sleds for sledding down this marvelous hill behind the house. Also the path behind the house leads to a beautiful pond and breath taking views of the snow covered woods. The owner is a dear to work with and leaves detailed instructions. We had a wonderful week here and would highly recommend this rental."

  • Great Christmas Break

"My family stayed at Long Trail House for the 3rd time and this was the best unit we stayed in yet. The unit was well appointed with comfortable living space and had all the conveniences of home. The new Fire Tower restaurant is a great addition to the Village dining options. Will definitely stay here again!"
