  • Beautiful & Cozy Home! Couldn't Have Asked For Anything More!!

"This home is truly amazing! Very spacious, warm, comfy and cozy! We were very impressed with the layout, the cleanliness and the well equipped kitchen. Not to mention it's extremely close to Okemo Mountain. After a long day of snowboarding we found it very relaxing to come home to sit by the fireplace or enjoying time in the Jacuzzi on the back deck. Have to admit, at 1st, I was a little hesitant about renting through VRBO, as this was our 1st time, but it turned out to be a very pleasant experience! The Owners are Wonderful to deal with! Very nice, accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions we had. We definitely will be returning. This home is a real Gem!"

  • Great place, VERY convenient!

"We stayed two nights and this was every bit as convenient as we had hoped. Nicely furnished and included all the amenities we could as for (fire place, kitchen, great view and roomy). You can't beat the location, literally 20 steps off the trail and a great way to make 1st chair at Skyeship Gondola. Owner was VERY easy to work with. We'll be back next year for sure, thank you!"

  • Great Getaway

"My wife and I along with our three children stay here at least twice a year - in the fall and in the winter during ski season. It is beautiful in the fall and there is no place Id rather be than here during the change of seasons. We also stay here during ski season and enjoy Stowe and all of the surrounding dinning and entertainment - there is something for everyone. The skiing is great but we also find time to go sledding, snow-shoeing and hiking when we want a break from skiing. We are a pretty active family so after a long day of playing there is nothing better than relaxing at the spa and hanging out with family and friends at the condo. The condo itself has all of the amenities you could ask for and it is supplied with everything you need for a luxurious home away from home. My wife is so comfortable there she says that it is her second home...Great area, great condo and incredible escape no matter what time of year. The Flemings"

  • Great visit

"Owlswood was perfect for our two night getaway! We were three couples, all with children under 1 year old. The house had plenty of romp rooms for the babies, complete with clean, soft carpet. The fireplace in the great room was very lovely (we stayed in winter) and the hot tub gave the adults some much needed relaxing once the babies were sleeping. We didn't do much in the town, as we just wanted to hang in the house, it was so welcoming, but it did seem like a convenient location for skiing and sightseeing. Would stay again! We loved the sonos sound system as well."

The Creature near Lake Memphremagog Rentals: Real or Myth?

One of the most famous legends surrounding Lake Memphremagog lake houses is the existence of a serpent living in the waters. Though it has not been proven without a doubt, still photos do exist of this supposed creature. Research the history of this theory and have fun trying to spot the serpent on your Vermont vacation.

Reserve Lake Memphremagog Lake Houses and Learn of the Area’s History

Schedule a boat or bike tour to see the former homes of three major lighthouses along the shore surrounding Lake Memphremagog rentals. The stories behind Maxfield Point Light, Newport Wharf Light, and Whipple Point Light each offer a different history, design and photo opportunity for a fun day away from your Lake Memphremagog lake houses. These lights were built in the late 19th or early 20th centuries, and played a vital part in directing the watercrafts on the water before being demolished. Local history museums in the area of your Vermont vacation offer photos and drawings of what these lighthouses once looked like.
