comfortable retreat that was perfect for our family
"We are a family of 5 and who completely enjoyed our stay. This unit offered us plenty of space for privacy, yet also offered plenty of space to relax together. we were very comfortable there.
The condo is conveniently located in a nice complex and is easy to find.
It is just as described in the listing. It has four levels. Each level is up about 5 steps. The first level bedroom and bath is large enough for 2 comfortable twin beds and a large window with mountain view. The galley kitchen and large eating area and balcony is on the second level. The 3rd level has a comfortable fire-placed living space with a lovely balcony. A comfortably firm king sized bedroom and bathroom is on the 4th level. The pictures do not do it justice.
We found the condo to be spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped. There were plenty of towels. the water was hot and the water pressure was good. The only missing item was bath soap and I felt it was just a housekeeping oversight.
The owner was very responsive and extremely helpful.
We would definitely refer friends and we would definitely return."

"Our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids ages 19, 17,15,and 11) just returned home after a 4 day stay at the schoolhouse. We fell in love at 1st sight with the charm and beauty of the home. It was a perfect place to call home as we explored the beautiful hiking trails and nearby Stowe and surrounding communities. It was clean, had a well-equipped kitchen and grill, and plenty of linens for us. Our 11 year old couldn't get enough of ringing the school bell which only added to the charm. Our kids also took advantage of the trampoline at the end of each day. It truly was a place to relax, slow down, and enjoy being a family together. The rural house offers beautiful views. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and dinner on the deck. The information that Florence provided regarding the house and the surrounding area was very thorough and helpful. I wish we could have taken advantage of the Farm to Table sunset dinner at the nearby Sandiwood Farm. We hope to return in the future and wouldn't hesitate to call this home again."

"This house was everything we hoped it would be. On its own (beautifully landscaped) lot with plenty of privacy, the house is quietly tucked away amidst endless farms and rolling fields, with mountain views in the distance. The house itself is comfortable, clean, and remarkably well stocked- we cooked all weekend and had everything we needed waiting for us. The owner was beyond accommodating- she really worked to make the whole process easy and seamless. We had a great time exploring Waitsfield, and made several trips to Burlington and to Camel's Hump for hiking. If you're looking for a nice place to unplug, look no further."
