"We stayed here for two nights on a New England road trip and was an ideal base to explore the Killington, Rutland and Woodstock areas. Photos and description were accurate and the unit was suitably neat and clean. The kitchen was relatively modern and had all that was required. We also enjoyed lighting the fireplace during the evening and enjoying a glass of wine. It was a fairly quiet time of the year when we were there so had ample undercover parking and also very quiet throughout the complex (which suited us just fine). May be very different throughout the ski season. There were a few eateries open further down the mountain and also a small mini market to purchase the essentials.
Richard (owner) was very responsive and helpful both during the initial rental process and prompt in the recredit of the refundable deposit. Thanks Richard.
Similar to the previous review the only issue we had was the firmness of the bed. Was much to firm and uncomfortable for us. We were informed by the management on the day we left (21/10) that a new mattress was being installed that afternoon. You win some and you lose some !
Given that the new (hopefully more comfortable) mattress has now been installed I am happy to recommend the apartment as a good, comfortable, value for money place to stay."

"My partner and I were looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of Burlington for a weekend getaway, and the carriage house was perfect for this. Located 5-10 minutes from just about everything, the carriage house (which is basically a fully-equipped, newly-renovated studio apartment over a garage) is the ideal staging ground for a Burlington stay. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating. The carriage house is set back on the property so it affords an amount of privacy that would be hard to come by at hotels or other properties. Parking was available right next to the carriage house as well, which was just one less thing to worry about. It has all the fixtures of a modern, luxury apartment: everything from new appliances to a spacious walk-in-shower. If you value privacy, location, and a comfortable stay - this is the place in Burlington."

"My first time renting on VRBO didn't disappoint. I did my homework on the area and the many houses that surrounded it and I settled on Donna's. Ladies and gentleman, this house is perfect in so many ways. Pictures cannot due justice of just how much room the house actually has. I had 13 people all between the ages of 24-31 stay in the house. It fit everyone comfortably with no issues. The "Great Room" (Shuffleboard, fireplace, etc.) was the place my crew and I spent the most time. Also, brand new for December 2014 is a state of the art hot tub. We fit 6 people comfortably in there. We incorporated family dinners every night as well and with top notch appliances (Viking Stove, Bosh dishwasher + Bosh laundry units), everything was easy. Sugarbush Ski Resort is 1/4 away along with any other hidden gems. Upon reservation completion, Donna sends you a list of spots (restaurants, bars and activities) incase you have never been here. I visited the the "Castlerock Pub" and "Timbers"…both great spots at the resort right down then street. I have been here before before so my crew and I also hiked some trails near Blueberry Lake and stopped at the Warren waterfalls. With a nice cozy house and fire every night, this weekend was a perfect weekend getaway for my crew and I from Boston, MA. Will rent again! Thanks Donna."

"Our family of four had a great ski vacation. It is the best ski resort we have been on the east cost. The propriety is at walking distance from the Sugarbush Mount Ellen lifts, which in my opinion are more interesting and less crowded than the Lincoln peak slopes (I grew up skining in the Swiss alps 2x per week). Well equipped kitchen, nicely decorated, great bedding, fantastic movie collection, fire place with as much wood as you would like. It felt like being at home. Anne and Pierre are very responsive, and pleasant. We will come back."
