"We have not once, but twice stayed with Sandra and her family at the Grist Mill, and both times had a perfect time- the property is beautiful and beautifully maintained, they are extremely friendly people, and I would recommend the property and the owners to any and all"

"A friend and I booked this cottage for a girls' getaway and a weekend of relaxation. We found it to be centrally located for all our outings in Waitsfield and Waterbury. The beds, sheets, pillows, and blankets are so cozy and comfortable -- I had the best night's sleep in a long time. For city folk, be prepared to be greeted by chickens on the front porch and hear them clucking away outside. As someone who grew up visiting my grandparents' farm, it brought me right back to my childhood. It was warm enough that we took a quick dip in the neighboring river and managed to: Have breakfast at The Big Picture Theater (top 5 breakfasts of my LIFE -- a must!), flea and farmer's markets in Waitsfield (a must if you are only there for the weekend and want to sample the local flavors and arts), the Ben & Jerry's factory, Cabot Annex and nearby distillery, Cider House & wine shop, antique shops, before ending our night at the cottage doing manicures and watching Harry Potter. Such a wonderfully relaxing weekend! Would love to come back in the fall for hiking or the winter for skiing! Pat was so kind, very responsive, and gave us a call to let us know my friend left her sweatshirt and had it ready when we came back around to retrieve it."

"We had a great experience at this house! We were here with our two children and friends from college (and their two children). There was plenty of space for all of us and the space was very comfortable. The pictures absolutely do not do it justice! Wifi, satellite TV, laundry and a fully equipped kitchen were a huge plus!
The only thing that would make this house better (if it's even possible) would be shades/curtains on the bedroom windows and deck furniture for outdoor eating/hanging."

"Very much a home away from home. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and easy access to the NatureSpa at Mount Snow. Close to hiking, kayaking, & yoga. Convenient pool and tennis courts on property and nice pool table on lower level of the condo."
