Wonderful family vacation!
"We (a family of six) stayed in the house for three nights and had a wonderful time.
The house is comfortable, spacious and nicely set up. It is clean, well-maintained and a genuine pleasure to occupy. Mark and Nancy are splendid, responsive and welcoming hosts. They are always quick to respond.
We would heartily recommend this house and the Sugarbush area. This house is removed from the hubbub, but still allows easy access to all the area has to offer (Ben & Jerry's and Lake Champlain Chocolate come to mind!).
Thanks for a great vacation!"

"This was a perfect property for my family of four and our four day, three night stay in Vermont in July. We were there so that I could run the Mad Marathon, and it was everything we needed it to be.
The kitchen is more than fully stocked with dishes, utensils, appliances, cookware and bakeware, and the local Shaw's supermarket (less than 10 minutes away) had everything we needed to cook in and save money on restaurants, not to mention be in control of my diet before my race!
The beds were very comfortable and the whole property was very clean, though a bit musty as you might expect when it isn't used as frequently in the summertime. A huge bonus was the washer and dryer - a stacked unit that can still handle good sized loads. Trust me when I say my *entire* family was grateful I was able to wash my race clothes before we headed home!!
An unexpected bonus was the game closet - the kids stayed entertained the entire time in large part because of the Outburst and Monopoly board games we found downstairs! The collection of DVDs was nice, too, and we enjoyed family movie night as I recovered from my race.
Super convenient to downtown Waitsfield, probably a 5-7 minute drive; only 30 minutes from Waterbury and about an hour from Burlington, where we went on a day trip on Monday. Great property, great value, and we would definitely stay again if we ever found ourselves in the heart of Vermont!"

"This was the first time I ever rented a vacation home and I am so happy I did. The pictures do not do the house justice. The pond, which is more similar to a lake was still and beautiful. I loved waking up to the fall foliage on the neighboring mountains and seeing the thin steam/fog floating away as the day began to warm. Jennifer has everything you can think of to make the house feel more like home. With two children under the age of 4, it becomes a necessity to have dinner at home. Not only is there full cutlery, pots, pans and plates but also items like strainers and cheese graters. I was so impressed. All the appliances are new, there are fresh linens, and a washer and dryer. Which i did use to help clean up some of the linens we used. The yard was great for the kids to run around in. I only wish we could have used the fire pit but the weather got a bit too chilly. For future renters... The place is remote (forest and corn fields along the way) but all this is exactly what a family of New Yorkers was looking for. Thank you again Jennifer for letting us use your beautiful home and we look forward to returning."

"This home was perfect for our two families with 4 adults and 4 kids, ranging in age from 7 to 20 yrs old. The house is very clean and well appointed and the Stowe Mtn Resort is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. There are lots of nearby restaurants if you want a night out, but we generally selected to tuck in after a long day of skiing and cook for ourselves. We found time for ice-skating and sledding in Stowe Village, and did make one trip to Piecasso for pizza and drinks, which was very enjoyable. (The sledding hill is behind the elementary school and it's a fun run, but for kids I suggest wearing ski helmets for this hill). There wasn't enough snow on the ground to do an cross-country skiing this trip but looking forward to it next time. Our hosts Janice and Lee were prompt and attentive to all our questions and concerns. We would definitely stay with them again."
