  • Great Birthday weekend in the Barn!

"I had a great time staying at the Barn with friends. It is decorated eclectically and was very clean and welcoming. When power went out in the area and I called Brian, the owner, he was very responsive and as helpful as he could be. The hot tub was great and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and equipment. The town of Wilmington was cute and I had a nice meal at one of the diners. I hope I get the chance to go back soon. The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 was that I did see a mouse while I was there, which I suppose is somewhat to be expected when you're in the woods in a barn/cabin. Again, the ow.ner was responsive when I called about this and said he would have an exterminator out as soon as possible. I would still go back"

  • Great home near Mt. Snow!

"Thank you for a wonderful stay! The home was thoughtfully and well arranged upon our arrival. There was 11 people in my group and our stay was very fun and comfortable. 10 minutes from Mt. Snow, yet still the location of the home is very private. This was my first time using HomeAway and the owner of the property was very nice and easy to speak with. Would definitely come again."

  • Presidents Day Weekend

"I stayed at this farmhouse for 3 nights with 12 friends (all of us in our early 20s). We decided it would be fun to spend the long weekend in Vermont where we could ski, drink, and relax. Upon arriving at the house we were excited with how secluded it was, and how much snow had fallen! The house is off a main road, all the way at the end of a cul-de-sac. The decor in the house was a bit interesting (it had a very old/antique barn feel to it, but with a lot of crazy wall paper), and we loved it! The farmhouse was easily able to accommodate all 13 of us... and we could even all eat dinner together or play card games around the big dining room table. The house was an easy 10-15 minute drive to Mt. Snow. While some friends went skiing, the other members of our group either went tubing, snow shoeing, or lounged around the fire in the house. There's a convenient market about a 5 minute drive away where we stocked up on groceries. The market also had really great quality prepared foods. Meredith, the owner was VERY accommodating and easy to get in touch with. Overall, it was such a nice getaway from New York City, and we would definitely stay here again."

  • Quintessential log cabin on Lake Raponda, VT

"Wonderful log cabin for a get away from it all vacation. The porch was so inviting it was hard to do anything else but rock and look out at the lake! Be wary of the stone steps however, even in the warmer months. Chris, the owner, was very helpful, prompt in her responses to email, and even met us at at the cabin when we arrived."
