  • Awesome White Thanksgiving!

"We had a fantastic time! The condo was in perfect condition and in a great location. We all slept great in the comfortable beds, with plenty of extra blankets. What a lovely fireplace to come home to after a day on the slopes! We had family in town so we didn't cook at home, but the facilities were perfect, including a washer dryer to make sure our towels were clean and our gloves were dry. Due to the snowstorm, we were able to ski in/out even though it was early season. The owners were graciously accommodating with an early check in. We hope to stay here again very soon."

  • Large, comfortable home

"We had a great time we had staying at this house in the off-season. What a great place! After driving up Friday night, we had a nice breakfast Saturday morning at Dots in Wilmington. We then went and hiked the crosstown trail, followed by a swim / hot tub at the Grand Summit lodge at Mt Snow. On Sunday we grabbed bagels and lattes at the coffee barn and then went to Adams Farm and saw lots of animals. Overall a great time and the house was awesome, large, clean and comfortable."

  • A Family Reunion...

"My neice was to me married locally and my brothers and I were asked to feed the 60 guests expected on Saturday afternoon. We arrived on Friday with food and the preparation began in wonderful kitchen there. My brothers arrived later on Friday (one from near, one from far) and the food prep frenzey continued. I still hurt from laughing so much. The owners were present that weekend and helped out a great deal. Nice people. After the wedding, we headed back to Misty Mountain and just kicked back, relaxed and had a ball. The rooms were great; everyone had a good night's sleep, and we had a ball in this gorgeous kitchen. Plenty of space for everyone to gather and separate space to get some quiet time. We'll be back!!"

  • Great Birthday weekend in the Barn!

"I had a great time staying at the Barn with friends. It is decorated eclectically and was very clean and welcoming. When power went out in the area and I called Brian, the owner, he was very responsive and as helpful as he could be. The hot tub was great and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and equipment. The town of Wilmington was cute and I had a nice meal at one of the diners. I hope I get the chance to go back soon. The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 was that I did see a mouse while I was there, which I suppose is somewhat to be expected when you're in the woods in a barn/cabin. Again, the ow.ner was responsive when I called about this and said he would have an exterminator out as soon as possible. I would still go back"
