"I've rented places in Vermont before, but none compare to this house. It's very clean and uncluttered, but still is fully equipped with everything you'd need. Our favorites being the grill, fire pit, comfy couches. Oh and the back deck is the spot for sunsets. Lots of stars at night and deer in the morning. The house is on a large open lot that feels private without being too secluded. The town of Chester is close by with lots of fun places to eat like, Smokin Bowls and Stone Pizza. We also found the Springfield Coop to be very affordable.
Dan couldn't have been nicer to deal with. I felt more like I was visiting a friend's house, than at a rental. Only problem is one week there wasn't nearly long enough. Can't wait to go back!"

"What a wonderful Christmas vacation we spent at this house! Having been to Vermont on numerous occasions but never in December (and a few days in January), we were a little apprehensive spending two weeks at this location. It turned out to one of our best vacations ever! The owner was great to work with, giving us not only Christmas week, but allowing us to spend New Year's Eve and a few days after. The home is spacious, well heated, and as promised...the hill behind the house (which was covered with snow) gave our 10 yr. old twin grandsons and their friend several days of exciting sledding and fort building. There is a caretaker to the property only a phone call away to answer questions. We were 7 people for the 2 weeks and an additional 3 people for 5 of the days and there was plenty of room. Just a great time in the city of Wilmington which we've come to love almost as much as our home in Texas!"

"Four of us from the Midwest spent a week in this charming lakeside camp during peak foliage color. The camp itself is very clean and super comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed just hanging out on the dock, the deck, or enjoying the view from inside. We really had a good time taking in the fall foliage festivals in the surrounding small towns. Groton State Forest is very close and offers a variety of interesting hiking options and amazing scenic views. Farther away attractions we took in were the Shelburne Museum and Mt. Washington. We never ran out of things to do, but, if we did there was a lot of information about nearby activities and attractions in books and folders at the camp. The owner was very helpful in answering questions about the best time to visit, how to get to the camp, and in making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and relatives - in fact, we already have! This is a beautiful part of the state, and a perfect place to stay to enjoy it."

"Our stay at Snow Mountain Lodge was great. From the moment we drove up the staff was friendly and attentive. This unit is in a prime location & in pristine condition. It has marble floors in the foyer, soaring ceilings, a beautiful bathroom & a great fireplace.
There's everything on site for a fantastic trip (spa, indoor/outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, fitness studio, gym, restaurants, and tons of activities.
Highly recommend. Will rebook next time we are in Stowe."
