  • Great stay for 3 people!

"My husband and I along with our 20 year old son stayed in this unit over a year ago and I forgot to write a review. Mountain Green and this cozy condo worked out perfectly for us! My son usually gets stuck on a pull out couch and was VERY happy with the very comfortable murphy bed! He said it was just like having a regular bed and would have worked great for two people (which a pull out couch never does). The location of the Murphy Bed in the main living space, but it is out of the way, so no furniture needs to be moved to pull it down. The condo main building location was great for parking and right there in the same building with the onsite restaurant/ski shop/spa facilities. We used the outside ski storage and caught the shuttle bus right outside the building for a very quick bus trip to the lift. We actually walked through the parking lots down to the lifts about half the time because it just wasn't that far (you can see it from the bus stop). Larry was very easy to work with and the key code entry system made for easy access!"

  • Amazing! Secluded but close to everything!

"This place was amazing! When you're sitting out on the porch it feels very secluded - hardly saw any cars on the street - but it is only a 5 minute drive from Main Street where you will find grocery stores, restaurants etc... (Be sure to have dinner at The Downtown Grocery while you are in town. It was one of the most amazing meals we've ever had!). The cabin was very clean and well equipped! The living room sofas are super-comfortable, the WiFi connects automatically and the TV gets pretty much every channel (the only time we really turned it on was for the World Cup games, but it was so nice to know that we could get them with no trouble at all). There was plenty of room for our group of 7 people. It was great being able to use the grill and kitchen so that we could save money and not eat out for every meal. The hot tub was the best feature of the log home. It's huge and SO relaxing! Going out there after dark just to stare at the open sky was our favorite thing to do! Our second favorite feature was the fire pit. Roasting marshmallows and chatting over a campfire is a great way to spend an evening in Vermont. If I only had one little criticism of the place, it would be the shower heads (or lack thereof). The downstairs shower was just OK, but wasn't great. The upstairs one produced more of a 'mist'. Making the small upgrade to new shower heads would make this place truly perfect! I also want to mention that Lisa, the housekeeper, was super-sweet and very helpful when I had to call and ask about the hot tub cleanser. She even offered to come out and help, but we were able to talk through it on the phone. I really appreciated having someone locally that can help if necessary. We will definitely return (though, if it is in the winter, we will definitely bring our 4 wheel-drive vehicle instead...I can't imagine getting up these roads when they're covered in snow)!"

  • The property was just as it was represented!

"We recently stayed at the JaMari Acres for 7 days and enjoyed it very much. The house is very clean, comfy and well maintained, the decor is perfect. It is located in a very peaceful setting, surrounded by hills and country roads with walking trails. All you have to bring is your food and clothes, everything is available. Upon arrival we had waiting a large beautiful bouquet of fresh cut flowers from the owners' garden; the smell filled the cabin - Thank You! We spent every morning and evening on the porch watching the haze disappear on the mountains and the sun go down in the evenings. Although we had no issues or problems, the owners made it clear that they are totally committed to making sure their guest are taken care of. We recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great place to stay while in the Jay Peak/Montgomery area."

  • Great Weekend Getaway!

"This is the perfect spot for a weekend away! Tucked in the hills of Montgomery and just down the road from Jay Peak, these unique cottages are a great place to get a little R & R! We stayed in the Sugar House cottage and couldn't have been more comfortable. The room had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean and well maintained. The property is perfect for a little stroll in the woods, complete with a brook, hot tub, and beautiful view. The local area offers some great restaurant options (we loved The INN), hiking, biking and of course all that Jay Peak provides (tram, waterpark, golf, skiing, etc.). The wedding barn is going to be an excellent addition and is simply beautiful! Shawna and Eamon are friendly, welcoming hosts and we are looking forward to another stay at Sheady Acres!"
