"We loved staying at this home and it was a great first place to bring our dogs! The fireflies at night were magnificent. The property was beautifully maintained. The apartment was spacious and felt very inviting. Brigid was wonderful! Ludlow is an adorable town nearby with a fun Main Street. Would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to take a much needed break away from the hustle and bustle of the city."

"It was perfect from the time we arrived until the time we left. We felt welcomed, comfortable and we had privacy. The loft was very clean, bright with all the natural light through many windows and unique. The picture depicts perfectly how the loft is. The bedroom was sectioned off so we felt like we had a separate bedroom, the living room was open and spacious, there was a lovely antique dining table with chairs and a well equipped kitchen. We went swimming in a nearby lake, great for running and biking. Towns were close by as well.
By the time we left, we felt as if we had know Paul and Janet for years and we were just coming to visit for awhile.
We would surely go back again!"

"I came up from Philadelphia for a few days relaxation with my yellow lab. The cottage was adorable--clean, cozy and filled with light. Set on a hill overlooking Star Lake, the cottage has amazing views out over the Green Mountains and I could have spent my entire time happily sitting on the deck or playing fetch with my dog in the meadows surrounding the cottage. Hikes beckoned, however, and Sam and I enjoyed walking on Healdville Trail, in Coolidge State Park, in the forest near Chester and on a closed road near the cottage. It was easy to find good local food nearby (Belmont Village Store, Crows Nest Bakery and Opera Cafe in Proctorsville, the Friday Farmers Market in Ludlow, Singletons in Proctorsville, the Wine and Cheese store in Ludlow). The cottage is in a great spot for exploring nearby towns and villages (Weston, Chester, Grafton) yet feels very secluded and serene. Ron was extremely helpful and friendly but also completely respected our privacy. We followed his suggestion of walking up the hill behind the cottage to watch the sunset, and were amply rewarded. We'll be back!"

"I stayed at this cozy little cabin in October. Ron was a great host. The cabin was exactly like the pictures show. Its remote, yet close to the General Store or a short drive to the next town. I loved my vacation, and this little slice of heaven so very much! Thank you for allowing me to stay in your cabin, and I hope to see you again soon! Happy Holidays :)"
