"I definitely recommend this home to any group of people looking for a spacious, clean, and up to date home! Located within less than a mile from Okemo Mountain, and about 25-30 minutes from Killington Mountain made this house PERFECT for any ski/snowboard trip. Worried about snowfall and being snowed in at the house? A snowplow was always around plowing the private road leading to the home and even the driveway! I can't think of one negative quality about this home, or the homeowners. They made themselves available via email by responding to any concerns I had within hours and made my stay in their home easy and fun. Thank you so much for having us!"

"The wife and I with our two teenage boys, found this fantastic condo available for a long weekend. I have been renting ski area condos for week/weekend trips for over 30 years. I must say that this was one of the best I have ever rented. FULLY stocked with everything you could need. Pots and pans in excellent condition. (never had that before in a rental) paper products and everyday supplies were abundant. Firewood right outside the door(never lit a fire) but a stack of starts was there at the ready. The short walk (30 Yards) to the slopes made it an easy start every morning and a great mid day stop. We bought our tickets online ahead of time and found we could pick them up Friday night at the clock tower, this made the trip even better. We never had to move the truck or stand in a ticket line. We skied right to the lift. Found the "Bubble" lift was the only line we had to stand in and avoided it for most of the trip. Never a line at any other lift all weekend.
The place is may be a wee bit difficult to find, but we were blessed to have the owners meet us at the bottom with the key and give us a personal tour up the mountain.
As for the owners. Two of the nicest people I have met in a long time. I can't wait to speak with them again and rent this unit over and over.
If there is a downside, it would have to be the steps. Not everything could be perfect!!!"

"I came up from Philadelphia for a few days relaxation with my yellow lab. The cottage was adorable--clean, cozy and filled with light. Set on a hill overlooking Star Lake, the cottage has amazing views out over the Green Mountains and I could have spent my entire time happily sitting on the deck or playing fetch with my dog in the meadows surrounding the cottage. Hikes beckoned, however, and Sam and I enjoyed walking on Healdville Trail, in Coolidge State Park, in the forest near Chester and on a closed road near the cottage. It was easy to find good local food nearby (Belmont Village Store, Crows Nest Bakery and Opera Cafe in Proctorsville, the Friday Farmers Market in Ludlow, Singletons in Proctorsville, the Wine and Cheese store in Ludlow). The cottage is in a great spot for exploring nearby towns and villages (Weston, Chester, Grafton) yet feels very secluded and serene. Ron was extremely helpful and friendly but also completely respected our privacy. We followed his suggestion of walking up the hill behind the cottage to watch the sunset, and were amply rewarded. We'll be back!"

"My husband and I took our 11 and 13 year old skiing and stayed at this house. The house was very cozy and warm. The living room has a comfortable sectional so we could all stretch out after a long day of skiing in front of the flat screen. The house has a large ample kitchen open to the family room. The upstairs had two nice size bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and the back bedroom had sounds of the babbling brook behind which was very soothing. Overall the house was in very good condition. It looks as though it was recently painted and the bathroom upstairs look newly renovated. The house was spotlessly clean. The very best feature of all is that the shuttle goes to the front door and is like the first drop off at the end of the day. The shuttle passes at least every half hour. Only ski on ski off could surpass the convenience. We had a great stay and my kids asked when we could go to the house again. The owners were great and so easy to deal with and we will definitely be back."
