"Had a great time. House is in good shape, wonderful, well equipped kitchen, nice bedrooms, great large family room. Awesome hot tub. Great home base for venturing out for hikes, tubing, etc. Would definitely recommend."

"We rented this ski house for a late season getaway to Killington. The house was very clean, well located and spacious. We really liked the huge kitchen too. Lori was very prompt in answering all our questions and the entire rental process went very smoothly! Highly recommended!
Just one piece of advice: The driveway is STEEP, we had some issues with a crappy rental van. If you're coming in the winter you might wanna bring a decent car."

"This was our second visit to Amee Farm Lodge. After eloping there last June, we decided that we had to come back, both to celebrate our 1st anniversary AND to introduce others to this beautiful oasis. We spent a week facilitating a cycling and creativity retreat there this June and have already begun planning for 2016. We couldn't have asked for more - from the amazing care taking by Simon & Jessica, who pay such close attention to detail and whose kindness and help goes beyond just a job to the surrounding Green Mountains, this is the perfect spot. The participants at our retreat were delighted by the accommodations, the spectacular rooms (and bathrooms!), the front porch, the lovely property, and the enormous space downstairs where we could spread out our art supplies. We created an "art bar," Simon built a fire for us on the rainy day, and we dove in to our projects and communing together. We were treated to delicious breakfasts and a breathtaking view every morning! Walks to the farm across the street to visit the baby goats, lunches at the General Store, dinners at The Back Room and The Wild Fern, incredible cycling, paddle board yoga on Silver Lake, a hike up the Stone Steps (and the view from the top) were just a few of the reasons why we'll be back next May for Spoke & Word II. We highly recommend this spot and we can't wait to celebrate many more anniversaries AND introduce many more friends to Pittsfield and Amee Lodge."

"We were going to VT for a weekend weeding of a relative for the 3rd weekend in June. Since their were 8 of us traveling together we were looking for a place that would allow us to stay together. Even thought this area is a great getaway for skiing there was plenty to do in June.
The house is very huge and has that mountain nostalgic ambiance and decor. There was great privacy. 4 levels was fantastic that had sleeping areas on the 2 lower levels and doorway to block the upper levels. This let us have those sleeping in separated from the movie watchers, pool players, ping pong gamer.
When we arrived all linen was ready for the beds to be made and towels were all nice and stored in the bins under the beds and in closets. The house was ready to go. The view from the 3rd level deck was awesome. We were just up the road from the Vermont River Tubing, Amiee Farm Lodge, and the 125 yr old Country Store that has excellent food. Loved the farm at the bottom of the hell with the fresh eggs for breakfast.
I didn't take my 4yr old son nor did my 2 yrs niece and nephew. But they would have loved it and even on the deck which railing was very high and the doors were secure so that you wouldn't worry about them getting hurt or falling.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!! If we travel to the area in the future, this would be our first stops. Looking forward to planning a winter trip so that we can use the fireplace and wood stove."
