  • Outstanding in every way!!

"We had the pleasure of staying here for two weeks with our two children and dog, and we felt welcomed and truly enjoyed our stay. This is the quintessential Vermont experience; gorgeous property with a pond, fishing and activities close by and wonderful hosts who took care of us and helped to inform us about activities in the area as well. The King size beds in each of the three bedrooms are incredibly comfortable, and the house is well stocked with everything one would need and the Wifi access is quick and reliable. Close to Stowe and Jay Peak, the location was nice and quiet on a dirt road, yet accessible to the different places we wanted to see. Be sure to take time to get to know the goats, and "Drifter", the owners' dog who is friendly and very welcoming. We truly could not have asked for more, and we will definitely be back in the future!!"

  • Week Long + 2 Family Mid February Ski Vacation

"What a GREAT place. Our stay was from Sunday February 9, 2014 through Thursday, February 13, 2014 (Unfortunately Ha - Ha) we had to stay an extra day because we got snowed in by a record breaking 27 inch snow storm on our last day. Luckily the condo was not booked that night and we were able to make very very last minute arrangements to stay one more night/day. First and Foremost, Kim, the owner, was very accessible as any time I had a question leading up to the trip and including the trip, I was able to email her and got a response usually within an hour. As for the Condo itself it is great. It is a great set up for two families and can easily sleep up to the advertised 10 people. There is a great fireplace in the living room and the firewood supply is so close that it might as well be in the condo itself! The new updated kitchen had every utensil and small kitchen appliance that even Bobby Flay would need. The pool/amenity building is close enough that you can walk there in your bathing suit and not feel the cold by the time that you get there. The on-site maintenance/point of contact man Matt is truly a gentleman and could not be more helpful. The condo complex itself is the first set of condominiums located just past the Grand Killington Inn and Lodge, so it is the FIRST and closest residences to the three major Lodges at the base, Snowshed, Ramshed, and K-1. We highly recommend this unit and we can't wait to visit Killington and stay in one Kim's residences in the 2014/2015 Ski Season - Thank You!"

  • Beautiful, cozy, accessible home!

"This beautiful Stowe home was everything that we expected it to be and more! First and foremost all the information was accurate that the owners provided (no questioning of anything, what you see in the pictures is what is exactly there) and we had much use of the sauna, ping pong table and completely up-to-date gorgeous kitchen. Everything was spotless clean and beautifully decorated, giving it such a modern-country feel. The 3 bed rooms all on one floor was awesome and the king bed was gigantic!! We loved how the 3rd floor was exclusively the dining area, kitchen and living room so we could do our own thing and the 2 full bathrooms were perfect. The drive to town was only 5 minutes from the house where all the restaurants, shops, convenience stores, markets and bars were and Stowe Mountain and Stowe Mountain Lodge was only 10 minutes from there. Everything was so close by and so easy to get to. Another thing was the owner Andrea was so kind and so helpful. She was so welcoming and truly made our stay so easy. Any questions I had she answered and not only that but would get back to me almost immediately. She made our stay so effortless and had such great warm hospitality. If not for that I would not have felt as comfortable as I did in the home and not have known the area as it wasn't for her. This home was great for everything we needed and more, beautiful, state of the art appliances, cozy, spacious, and welcoming. Cannot wait for one day to return in the future and stay at this home and be in contact with these owners again!!"

  • Loved our stay!

"We had a wonderful time at the Killington Farmhouse. It is located on a beautiful piece of property with lots of land for kids to explore. We went in the fall and the leaves were just incredible. The view out the window from the kitchen table would be hard to beat anywhere. Our favorite part about our stay there was the amount of activities for our kids to do. They dragged sticks out of the forest, collected kindling for the fire, roasted marshmallows over a campfire, dragged each other on sleds up and down the hill, swung on the tire swing, climbed rocks, hiked up the waterfall (just down the road), rode the scooters in the basement, played ping pong, and enjoyed all the toys in the playroom upstairs. We also hiked part of the Appalachian Trail, which is just down the road. The house itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed, although a little on the rustic side (which was just perfect for us). Anne, the owner, was easy to work with. She happened to be there when we arrived and took the time to show us around. She pointed out special toys and certain places the kids might enjoy exploring, which helped me to relax and let my kids play instead of worrying that they might break something. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends who enjoy nature and don't need a TV to have a good time."
