"We stayed in this home over Christmas break. The location is perfect. Quechee clubhouse is walkable distance, woodstock is 10 minutes, and Pico mountain(killington) is about a 30 min drive. We skied Pico at least 4 times over the week, and found the drive to be very easy. The house itself is spacious, well maintained and comfortable. The very large basement area is the perfect place to send the kids off to play. The kitchen had every appliance we could possibly need and was a joy to cook in. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. What more can I say other than I can't wait to go back!"

"We had three generations of our family from five different states gathering in Quechee to celebrate a wedding and this house could not have met our needs better. We rented both the main house and the guest house so we had plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. It was so much better than renting hotel rooms. Not only did we save money on rooms and meals but it gave us a comfortable place and relax and catchup with one another between wedding activities. After our long journeys it was nice to arrive at a clean home that was all set for us. We found the kitchen well stocked with enough dishes and silverware to supply our large group. The home is just minutes from the Quechee Inn where the wedding was held so it was very convenient traveling to and from the venue. It is also very close to the Quechee Club with its great golfing and skiing opportunities. It was a little past prime leaf season but we still enjoyed a lovely walk along the roads of this quiet country neighborhood. With its million dollar view of the valley, fireplace and screened in porch this home is a great vacation spot any time of year. I don’t know who arranged for the hot air balloon to sail through the valley on Saturday morning but that was a great treat for all of us. We would definitely rent this home again."

"August 2014: We love The Ridge (have rented in the community a few times before) for the views, the quiet, and the space flexibility. This is our first time with this unit and the property headline is very accurate. Because this is an end unit, and particularly due to its siting in relation to the next group of units, it offers an exceptionally broad view as well as the extra natural light.
The property is very clean, nicely furnished and very well stocked (pots & pans, cooking utensils, serving pieces, plates & silverware, and sheets and towels), reflecting that the unit is not a full time rental.
We are a small family with one 10 year old daughter who occasionally had a friend visit. There was also a third bedroom with its own bath for the occasions when we had a couple visit for the weekend or for a few days. Although the unit isn't exceptionally large in square footage, there was plenty of space for all. The main floor living/dining/kitchen areas feel spacious due to the high ceilings.
There are plenty of instructions in the unit about how things work and things to do in the area. The owners are very accessible, helpful, and accommodating.
The Ridge has a quiet pool with a view as well. It's a nice feature for families as children (and adults) like to use it in between doing other activities or for quiet relaxation."

"My wife, 2 year old yellow lab and I settled into this cabin for a week at the beginning of a nine week road trip. It was a great place to start. It had everything we needed, we usually do lunch out and dinner at the cabin. And this worked well here. It is remote --- no neighbors you can see or hear -- but just up the hill from the main streets in Quechee. It is less than a mile from the gorge. The management company (Thanks Mike) was very responsive to the one or two issues we had and took care of them quickly and efficently. We recommend this for almost anyone, but if you have difficulty with stairs or small hills, you might want to look elsewhere as the main living area is on the second level. We hope the rest of the VRBO properties we will be staying are as nice."
