  • August Delight

"We were here in August and loved it. The house has a cozy, open-living floor plan with a large kitchen/dining area which makes it great for entertaining/family meals. Tastefully decorated with no clutter and lots of bright natural light due to large windows on all sides. Very well located. Lots of great restaurants in nearby Hanover, White River Junction, Woodstock and in Quechee. Great lobster at The Weathervane in West Lebanon. MGM video store for movies to rent in West Lebanon as well. Try the Tip Top Cafe in White River Junction for great food and a warm, casual ambiance. The Co-op in White River Junction has almost everything you need, and if not, just across the river in Lebanon there is another Co-op (different company). The Quechee club is just down the road from the house and for a nominal fee you can enjoy exercise classes, pool, tennis and the small lake in summer. Mt. Tom in Woodstock is a lovely hike but we also enjoyed walks in the neighborhood. The owner is great in answering all questions and so nice to deal with. House has all the amenities you could want and a well equipped kitchen."

  • well maintained, quaint vermont condo

"Just returned from a 3 night stay in quechee, vermont. we found the saltbox condo in perfect condition. Very well-stocked unit, from the kitchen to the bedroom. Plenty of towels, soaps, and extra finishing touches. We especially liked the owner's binder which contained local restaurant menus, brochures for sightseeing, etc., perfectly organized for quick information. Owner was extremely accommodating to our needs & we felt like we were staying in someone's home, rather than a "generic" condo. The condo was located close to the Quechee Club golf courses and nearby to all the attractions and town. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!"

  • We Never Grew Tired of the View!

"August 2014: We love The Ridge (have rented in the community a few times before) for the views, the quiet, and the space flexibility. This is our first time with this unit and the property headline is very accurate. Because this is an end unit, and particularly due to its siting in relation to the next group of units, it offers an exceptionally broad view as well as the extra natural light. The property is very clean, nicely furnished and very well stocked (pots & pans, cooking utensils, serving pieces, plates & silverware, and sheets and towels), reflecting that the unit is not a full time rental. We are a small family with one 10 year old daughter who occasionally had a friend visit. There was also a third bedroom with its own bath for the occasions when we had a couple visit for the weekend or for a few days. Although the unit isn't exceptionally large in square footage, there was plenty of space for all. The main floor living/dining/kitchen areas feel spacious due to the high ceilings. There are plenty of instructions in the unit about how things work and things to do in the area. The owners are very accessible, helpful, and accommodating. The Ridge has a quiet pool with a view as well. It's a nice feature for families as children (and adults) like to use it in between doing other activities or for quiet relaxation."

  • What a lovely place

"It's been over 35 years since I vacationed in Quechee with my family, but this Kingswood condo was a wonderful unit and location to introduce the area to my husband and close friends, none of whom had ever been before. The beautifully updated, stocked and very large kitchen/counter was the gathering place for our breakfasts, activity discussions and evening card games. The bedroom sizes are good and the view is memorable. The spacious open concept of kitchen/living room would work really well with large groups. We would definitely stay in this condo again and recommend it to anyone making Quechee a destination or stopping place within a New England visit."
