  • Stowe rental

"Had a great 1 week stay. The unit is perfect for a couple or a small family. Very well equipped, and every detail was thought of appropriately. Beautiful bathroom and loved the dishwasher. Pros: the unit and location to many hiking trails. Cons: the resort could do a little more to keep people from driving away from the property. Examples, serving coffee in the lobby, having drink or food specials by the pool, or even utilize their grand lobby/sitting area somehow to keep people there spending money. Another con is the valet service. Although the unit includes it with the rental, always seemed like a hassle to call down for your car or sit and wait for it to be brought up to you. All of the valet drivers were nice and helpful, but I disliked feeling that I had to open my wallet for them each time I dropped off or picked up the vehicle. Which brings us back to the first con, find a way to keep vacationers on the property spending money. (loved the Miele vacuum cleaner in the closet. Only wish my 5yr old Miele was made as well as the one in the unit)"

  • Great Getaway

"As the leaves were turning, toward the end of September, my husband and teenage girls spent a long weekend in this beautiful, inviting home. The four of us had more than enough room to relax, roam and explore. The furnishings were modern, but functional and comfortable. We were happy to dine at home as grocery stores and farm stands were nearby, making shopping simple. At the same time, we were close to several great restaurants. We discovered many quaint covered bridges and country stores. The views from all around the house were magnificent. The owners and the housekeeping staff were extremely helpful, informative and available. It was a great stay."

  • Relaxing and Exciting all in one!

"My family and I love to visit Vermont in the summer. We decided to rent at the Bridges and was impressed with how easy and friendly the owner was. We rented for the entire week with our family and loved having the kitchen, laundry and deck. With children traveling is exhausting but having the condo so close to the pool and recreation center we could spend a day or an hour at the pool and quickly go back to the condo- it had all the comforts of home. We went out to lunch several times but enjoyed grilling on the deck and making s'mores at night. There was plenty of activities for the kids during the day at the Bridges and only a quick drive to Ben and Jerry's, Cabot and Stowe. We are excited to book our vacation next year with the owner!"

  • Great Weekend Getaway!

"This is the perfect spot for a weekend away! Tucked in the hills of Montgomery and just down the road from Jay Peak, these unique cottages are a great place to get a little R & R! We stayed in the Sugar House cottage and couldn't have been more comfortable. The room had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean and well maintained. The property is perfect for a little stroll in the woods, complete with a brook, hot tub, and beautiful view. The local area offers some great restaurant options (we loved The INN), hiking, biking and of course all that Jay Peak provides (tram, waterpark, golf, skiing, etc.). The wedding barn is going to be an excellent addition and is simply beautiful! Shawna and Eamon are friendly, welcoming hosts and we are looking forward to another stay at Sheady Acres!"
