"This home was perfect for our two families with 4 adults and 4 kids, ranging in age from 7 to 20 yrs old. The house is very clean and well appointed and the Stowe Mtn Resort is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. There are lots of nearby restaurants if you want a night out, but we generally selected to tuck in after a long day of skiing and cook for ourselves. We found time for ice-skating and sledding in Stowe Village, and did make one trip to Piecasso for pizza and drinks, which was very enjoyable. (The sledding hill is behind the elementary school and it's a fun run, but for kids I suggest wearing ski helmets for this hill). There wasn't enough snow on the ground to do an cross-country skiing this trip but looking forward to it next time. Our hosts Janice and Lee were prompt and attentive to all our questions and concerns. We would definitely stay with them again."

"GREAT CABIN. CDRTAINLY LIVED UP TO ITS DESCRIPTION AND MORE. GRANDS CAME FOR FEW DAYS AND LOVE THE SWIMMING HOLE. COULDN'T ASK FOR A BETTER PLACE TO STAY. WANTED SOMETHING PEACEFUL AND RELAXING, CERTAINLY GOT IT. LOVED THE LOWER DECK NEAR THE RIVER. SPENT MANY HOURS THERE READING OR JUST RELAXING. DIDN'T GO TO MANY PLACES BECAUSE WE JUST WANTED TO RELAX. AND DID. A TRULY UNIQUE CABIN AND A GREAT VACATION. HOPE TO GO BACK NEXT YEAR. LOVED IT"

"Vermont is beautiful- we loved hiking Mt. Killington and the Falkner trail on Mt. Tom, the Woodstock town was adorable to walk through, but nothing compared to the quiet beauty and tranquility at the cabin. The pictures don't do it justice. The house itself was perfectly equipped (except for a tub for kids) from paper towels to toys to lighters and candles in almost every room. It was clean, smelled nice and nicely laid out.The outside was best of all- hearing the sound of the waterfall, relaxing on the deck chairs or hammock, swimming, boating in the private pond, playing in the sand there, it was more than we could ask for. Mark was helpful with anything we needed and yet not in our face, the owners were also really nice to work with. Thanks for a perfect get-away!"

"Our families enjoyed a fun winter break in this comfy home.
Five Trees has all the amenities you need for a relaxing, warm and fun-filled winter retreat. Though it was frigid outside (-19), the wood burning stove and radiant heat provided a warm setting for our fun yet relaxing vacation. The large dining area is a perfect backdrop for home cooked meals to be shared with family and friends.
This home offers three floors of living space. The lower level can accommodate your little ones or be used as a sun-filled reading area. The main living area is good for game playing, sitting by the fire enjoying conversations or simply reading and relaxing . The upper level has three clean and comfortable bedrooms and a spacious bathroom.
Our families took advantage of skiing at Stowe, hiking in the easily accessible trails, and exploring the beautiful village of Stowe and neighboring towns . We also enjoyed local area attractions such as visits to the Trapp Family Lodge and the Ben and Jerry’s factory.
Our host, Adam was attentive to all our needs and very helpful.
Thank you Adam for sharing your home with us!"
