  • Perfect!

"We rented this house for a "friends Thanksgiving getaway" and we couldn't have had better accommodations. Our hosts were in the house next door and were super friendly and helpful while fully respecting our privacy. The house was big enough to sleep four couples and ten "singles" very comfortably. With three different living rooms, everyone was able to find a room to match their energy level. The amenities allowed for multiple activities without ever having to leave the spacious house. The scenery is spectacular and it was less than a ten minute drive from the mountain. All in all, a big thank you!"

  • Cozy, Spacious, Large Groups

"The place was beautiful. 4 bedrooms at the top, 2 at the bottom and 3 bathrooms. Plenty of space for everybody. There's an outdoor hot tub with indoor sauna, ping pong table at the lower level and a nice area to hang coats at the entrance. Some of the appliances are outdated but worked well. Minor wear here and there but overall a really pleasant place to stay! Host was very friendly and accommodating. The place is really near to the stowe village/main street. Do walk around the area surrounding the property. There's a nice river with cute bridges on the right of the house. If you follow the river trail, you get a decent walk with beautiful view!"

  • Charming Cabin for our Winter-Escape

"We spent New Year's week at this wonderful cabin to escape city life for awhile. The cabin is set on a beautiful wooded hillside next to a waterfall and looks out over a pristine pond and a very pretty rural landscape. There are two other cabins adjacent to the property but far enough away that we felt secluded with plenty of privacy. The cabin itself is warm, spacious, and well-decorated with tasteful furnishings. A really nice simple design. The bed linens were very soft. I cook a lot and I was so happy that the kitchen was appointed with everything I needed to prepare our meals. I especially appreciated all of the cooking utensils, measuring cups, and serving dishes. The cabin is heated by a gas fireplace which is set up on a thermostat. We were cozy and warm despite low temps outside. We also lit fires in the cast iron wood stove in the evenings. (Heaven.) There is a dvd player and folks might want to bring some movies to watch, but we were pretty happy just reading by the fire in the evenings. We went for long hikes every day - there are plenty of good hills/mountains to explore right near the cabin. We also popped into Woodstock for a dinner one night. It is a really great downtown. We decided not to ski while we were there but we could have easily done so at Suicide 6 or Killington. (There wasn't much snow cover the week we were there.) We enjoyed the hiking a lot - I think that we were sometimes trespassing on the edges of the Twin Farms Inn property nearby but no one seemed to mind. The owners of the cabin were great at answering questions promptly before we headed up there. Very nice to deal with. We liked it so much that we plan to go up again in the Spring or Summer and bring our two little girls. (The one thing that I would note is that you might actually need 4-wheel drive if you plan to go in the winter and you get hit with a snow storm. Parts of the road and driveway seem like they would be pretty steep if they got snow or ice-covered.)"

  • Beautiful large home great for a group

"Upon arrival at the house myself along with my group mentioned a number of times how beautiful the home was. Its clear the owners have taken great care in the home and everything was as described. Easy trip to Mount Snow and PLENTY of parking including a garage. Thanks for allowing us to use your home to create some memories we will never forget."
