  • Great Setting for Vacation Getaway

"Our families enjoyed a fun winter break in this comfy home. Five Trees has all the amenities you need for a relaxing, warm and fun-filled winter retreat. Though it was frigid outside (-19), the wood burning stove and radiant heat provided a warm setting for our fun yet relaxing vacation. The large dining area is a perfect backdrop for home cooked meals to be shared with family and friends. This home offers three floors of living space. The lower level can accommodate your little ones or be used as a sun-filled reading area. The main living area is good for game playing, sitting by the fire enjoying conversations or simply reading and relaxing . The upper level has three clean and comfortable bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. Our families took advantage of skiing at Stowe, hiking in the easily accessible trails, and exploring the beautiful village of Stowe and neighboring towns . We also enjoyed local area attractions such as visits to the Trapp Family Lodge and the Ben and Jerry’s factory. Our host, Adam was attentive to all our needs and very helpful. Thank you Adam for sharing your home with us!"

  • Beautiful home with history

"This beautiful home sits on an idyllic peninsula with expansive views over Lake Champlain. There are many activities to do locally as well as historic touring opportunities from the Revolutionary period. I highly recommend visiting Fort Ticonderoga and taking the barge across the lake. The owner of the house is a beautiful and charming hostess who can provide you with many ideas for family fun."

  • Great for Families

"We stayed in the christmass tree lodge this summer with our four young children. The hosts were extremely gracious and helpfull. The setting was idylic. My kids enjoyed the grounds, picking eggs from the barn and making fire pits in the evening. The cottage was spacious and well apportioned with three bedrooms and significant common area. There was a dock on a really pretty river and our hosts brought the boat down and out in the water for us. Also had kayaks and bikes available for our use which was great. Only minor issue is the cottage was dusty which triggered my wife's allergies."

  • Perfect weather, great stay

"We spent a few days here and had a great time overall. Really appreciated the kitchenette and deep tub in the room, and free valet parking along with access to the lodge's outdoor jacuzzi were nice perks! Gas fireplace in room added extra warmth whenever we came inside too. The room is directly in front of the Over-easy gondola so it gets a little noisy at 7am, but we were in town for winter sports so it served as a helpful back-up alarm. Overall it was a very nice spot, a great value, and a good vacation. Thank you!"
