  • Cozy, Spacious, Large Groups

"The place was beautiful. 4 bedrooms at the top, 2 at the bottom and 3 bathrooms. Plenty of space for everybody. There's an outdoor hot tub with indoor sauna, ping pong table at the lower level and a nice area to hang coats at the entrance. Some of the appliances are outdated but worked well. Minor wear here and there but overall a really pleasant place to stay! Host was very friendly and accommodating. The place is really near to the stowe village/main street. Do walk around the area surrounding the property. There's a nice river with cute bridges on the right of the house. If you follow the river trail, you get a decent walk with beautiful view!"

  • WOW! LOOK AT THAT VIEW!

"So secluded yet so close to everything. The views from the front porch are a 100 times better than the pictures shown, absolutely stunning. If you can break away from looking at the view from the porch there is biking, hiking, swimming, boating and even a drive in movie theatre close by. The cabin is cozy and rustic, very relaxing. You even have hummingbirds that come to the feeders. Cell reception is 5 bars but once you come here, you don't really want to use it. We had 6 people and 4 dogs, plenty of room to spread out. We did fireworks one night(store 5 min away) and a campfire the other night so make sure to bring marshmellows. One day we rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed 6 hrs on the ct river, I would highly recommend doing this. The Marina is only 5 min away. Mike, the cabin owner is great and extremely helpful with any questions you make have about the area. He even offers kayaks for you to use. Next time I will bring a bike so I can pedal the 5 miles around the lake area and then visit the ice cream stand as a reward. I cannot say enough about how great this place is. Definitely 5 stars!"

  • Beautiful home for family holiday gathering

"Our extended family of 10 spent four nights here between Christmas and New Years. The house was exactly as described and even prettier and better laid out than the photos show. The scenery across Lake Champlain was beautiful - we even saw two bald eagles one morning. Quiet area, but under ten minutes from town. Angela was very responsive in our communications. She even set up an artificial Christmas tree for us! Would love to come back during warmer months to enjoy more outdoor activities."
