  • Beautifully secluded and peaceful

"We were looking to really get away over the weekend and this was just the place! Wonderfully off-the-grid, very peaceful and so, so quiet, especially for us city folks. Stowe is close enough for a quick trip in but far enough to maintain a very secluded feeling. The bitter cold outside couldn't stop us from snowshoeing and exploring (over the frozen pond!!), while inside the cabin was always warm and cozy, perfect for chess and a quiet night. Will definitely be making a return journey in warmer days!"

  • Ski Weekend

"My group and I really enjoyed the house, the near by town, and the mountain. After a day of skiing, the house offered our whole group plenty of room to hang out, eat dinner, play games even sing some karaoke! Bedrooms were very comfortable and the 5 bathrooms were a great feature. All in all exactly what we were looking for in a rental to get away from the city and embrace what Vermont has to offer."

  • Best rental ever!

"I've rented places in Vermont before, but none compare to this house. It's very clean and uncluttered, but still is fully equipped with everything you'd need. Our favorites being the grill, fire pit, comfy couches. Oh and the back deck is the spot for sunsets. Lots of stars at night and deer in the morning. The house is on a large open lot that feels private without being too secluded. The town of Chester is close by with lots of fun places to eat like, Smokin Bowls and Stone Pizza. We also found the Springfield Coop to be very affordable. Dan couldn't have been nicer to deal with. I felt more like I was visiting a friend's house, than at a rental. Only problem is one week there wasn't nearly long enough. Can't wait to go back!"
