"This was our second visit to Amee Farm Lodge. After eloping there last June, we decided that we had to come back, both to celebrate our 1st anniversary AND to introduce others to this beautiful oasis. We spent a week facilitating a cycling and creativity retreat there this June and have already begun planning for 2016. We couldn't have asked for more - from the amazing care taking by Simon & Jessica, who pay such close attention to detail and whose kindness and help goes beyond just a job to the surrounding Green Mountains, this is the perfect spot. The participants at our retreat were delighted by the accommodations, the spectacular rooms (and bathrooms!), the front porch, the lovely property, and the enormous space downstairs where we could spread out our art supplies. We created an "art bar," Simon built a fire for us on the rainy day, and we dove in to our projects and communing together. We were treated to delicious breakfasts and a breathtaking view every morning! Walks to the farm across the street to visit the baby goats, lunches at the General Store, dinners at The Back Room and The Wild Fern, incredible cycling, paddle board yoga on Silver Lake, a hike up the Stone Steps (and the view from the top) were just a few of the reasons why we'll be back next May for Spoke & Word II. We highly recommend this spot and we can't wait to celebrate many more anniversaries AND introduce many more friends to Pittsfield and Amee Lodge."

"We rented this ski house for a late season getaway to Killington. The house was very clean, well located and spacious. We really liked the huge kitchen too. Lori was very prompt in answering all our questions and the entire rental process went very smoothly! Highly recommended!
Just one piece of advice: The driveway is STEEP, we had some issues with a crappy rental van. If you're coming in the winter you might wanna bring a decent car."

"This was our second year in this beautiful home. The fit and finish of the home makes it very comfortable and inviting for all age groups. Mike and Victoria are gracious hosts and take a lot of pride in their home. The improvements made from one year to the next make it obvious that they care as much about their home as they do the people renting it. The personal touches are wonderful and make this an ideal rental.
When we rented the house last year we left behind some personal items. When we arrived this year, we found that Mike and Victoria had held on to our items; they were wrapped and labled for us and put out with a delicious plate of brownies and a bottle of wine with a personal note to welcome us. I have never experienced such personable and thoughtful landlords.
We loved the upgrades to the house such as the chef's stove and ceramic, wood like tiles in the lower rec room. Simply cannot be beat this property; views, amenities, warm home and owners!
Thanks again for being such wonderful hosts-"

"We all wanted to transplant this house to our town so we could live in it! I really could have just stayed here and lived here forever. I regret not staying longer. No one wanted to leave. It was a couples weekend and it could not have been more perfect. The house felt like it was in the middle of nowhere which was a great treat from the hustle and bustle. So clean, have nothing to complain about. It was just a 20-25 min ride to Killington Mt. where we skied. There was a beautiful river across the road that was so peaceful to look at. It was so great coming back to the house after skiing to the fire place and the great jacuzzi tub! Highly recommend this house to anyone whether it is a ski vacation, or just a vacation to hang out. There was no TV, which made time go by slow, which was FANTASTIC. Cannot wait to go back!!!"
