The best place to stay for a rustic VT vacation getaway!
"Incredible view, cozy, and overall the perfect place to have a group vacation. The owner, Anne, was very easy to work with and friendly. Everyone in our group loved their stay so much they want to return yearly."

"Excellent property with a deep wrap around porch which provides excellent views
and makes for yet another common area which were important for meeting places for
a family reunion. We loved the hike to the creek for wading and the walk to the country
store. We stayed in Doc B at the end of the hall which made it quiet. We could have used a
some hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothes and towels. Some hooks on the wardrobe to the left of the sink would improve also. The mattress on the double bed was soft and sank in the middle."

"This was our second year in this beautiful home. The fit and finish of the home makes it very comfortable and inviting for all age groups. Mike and Victoria are gracious hosts and take a lot of pride in their home. The improvements made from one year to the next make it obvious that they care as much about their home as they do the people renting it. The personal touches are wonderful and make this an ideal rental.
When we rented the house last year we left behind some personal items. When we arrived this year, we found that Mike and Victoria had held on to our items; they were wrapped and labled for us and put out with a delicious plate of brownies and a bottle of wine with a personal note to welcome us. I have never experienced such personable and thoughtful landlords.
We loved the upgrades to the house such as the chef's stove and ceramic, wood like tiles in the lower rec room. Simply cannot be beat this property; views, amenities, warm home and owners!
Thanks again for being such wonderful hosts-"

"We were going to VT for a weekend weeding of a relative for the 3rd weekend in June. Since their were 8 of us traveling together we were looking for a place that would allow us to stay together. Even thought this area is a great getaway for skiing there was plenty to do in June.
The house is very huge and has that mountain nostalgic ambiance and decor. There was great privacy. 4 levels was fantastic that had sleeping areas on the 2 lower levels and doorway to block the upper levels. This let us have those sleeping in separated from the movie watchers, pool players, ping pong gamer.
When we arrived all linen was ready for the beds to be made and towels were all nice and stored in the bins under the beds and in closets. The house was ready to go. The view from the 3rd level deck was awesome. We were just up the road from the Vermont River Tubing, Amiee Farm Lodge, and the 125 yr old Country Store that has excellent food. Loved the farm at the bottom of the hell with the fresh eggs for breakfast.
I didn't take my 4yr old son nor did my 2 yrs niece and nephew. But they would have loved it and even on the deck which railing was very high and the doors were secure so that you wouldn't worry about them getting hurt or falling.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!! If we travel to the area in the future, this would be our first stops. Looking forward to planning a winter trip so that we can use the fireplace and wood stove."
