  • Perfect Location

"Great location!!! Toll House Lift is a short walk (or ride). Perfect for a 2 person getaway. Jean was very hospitable as well...She even set up the fireplace ahead of our arrival so all we had to do was light the fire after a long day on the slopes. Restaurants / Apres Ski / Shopping / Etc. are located just a short drive down the mountain...Cannot say enough about the location!"

  • Simply perfection!

"I had the privilege of residing at Paige and Craig's for the summer months of 2014. My stay was 'nothing short of amazing', and that in all aspects of the word. The apartment itself is nestled in the green mountains of Vermont, on a lush property with gardens and a swimming pond, surrounded by breathtaking views of mountains. It is the perfect spot for a sophisticated and elegant quintessential Vermont experience; it is beautifully decorated with the wholesome charm and character of a NewEngland inn and it possesses all the amenities one would possibly need. The location is simply perfect, being just up the road from Stowe's downtown core and minutes away from beautiful biking and running trails as well as the Rec Path. Nearby, there are Vermont style red barns with cows and sheep grazing, which provide a very bucolic atmosphere… Luxury in the heart of the wilderness and quite the opposite of the toxic city life! I spent long hours on the breezeway studying alongside their amazing dogs, Julia and Pepe…which was blissful even when the weather was rainy and dreary. Pepe's instant slobbery smile cannot help you but fall in love with him. And Julia is simply adorable and oh so lovable..I cannot help but think of them with hugs, sweetness and fond summer memories. It was an outmost pleasure to spend my summer at Paige and Craig's and I couldn't help but be happy as a clam. All in all, this place is a gem in the green mountain of Vermont and is ideal for those seeking an ultimate getaway amidst Stowe's simmering stillness and nature. I personally guarantee that will you will not regret your accommodations choice! It was ideal, and warmly home to me. -Tania"

  • Cozy, Spacious, Large Groups

"The place was beautiful. 4 bedrooms at the top, 2 at the bottom and 3 bathrooms. Plenty of space for everybody. There's an outdoor hot tub with indoor sauna, ping pong table at the lower level and a nice area to hang coats at the entrance. Some of the appliances are outdated but worked well. Minor wear here and there but overall a really pleasant place to stay! Host was very friendly and accommodating. The place is really near to the stowe village/main street. Do walk around the area surrounding the property. There's a nice river with cute bridges on the right of the house. If you follow the river trail, you get a decent walk with beautiful view!"

  • Full Vermont Experience

"We rented the Timber Frame to celebrate my 40th birthday. Four couples, stayed including two small dogs. Bruce and Donna's house is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need to make your stay comfy; you really don't have to even need to leave! Everyone loved the hot tub and sauna, and it was nice to just relax in front of the fireplace. We played board games and enjoyed eating at the Prohibition Pig in downtown Waterbury. The dogs loved being able to run around in the snow (a nice change from the sidewalks of Boston). We highly recommend this house for anyone who's interested in the full Vermont experience. And we are definitely making Waterbury a yearly tradition -- and hopefully staying at the Timber Frame."
