Perfection in Stowe!
"What a perfect place to live if your not at home! I stayed at Craig and Paige's apartment for over three months, mainly during the week but sometimes with the family over the weekends. It is warm in the winter and cool in the summer, has a separate bedroom, perfect size galley kitchen and a great couch for naps! Stowe is a great place for skiing, hiking and cycling, and the apartment is just minutes away from everything."

"Previously stayed in Phil & Anne's 1 bedroom condo for our annual Columbus Day weekend trip (It's lovely too!). How fortunate that Phil let is stay in their other condo. What a pleasure on our 1st night to enjoy the spectacular view of a rose colored sunset over the green mountains while we enjoyed our Ben & Jerry's! This spacious "home away from home" is warm & cozy, filled with Anne's thoughtful touches, especially the lovely paintings. ( we even visited some local galleries looking for similar prints). 2nd nights sunset even lovelier with the addition of a hot air balloon down the hill. The unit is much larger & quieter than you'd expect, with the comfort of the fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer & really comfortable recliners ( just try to stay awake in them)! Lots of shopping, restaurants, entertainment, a farmers market, & even a sculpture garden are all an easy walk. Really enjoyed watching all the mountain biker FAMILIES, & craft brews during the BBB weekend. Quilt show in Essex was amazing! Worship at Stow Community church, you might be sitting next to a vonTrapp (& singing the benediction to the tune of Edelweiss brought tears to our eyes). Took a short drive down to White River Junction to visit King Arthur Flour (have to stock up on supplies) & Simon Pearce (how wonderful to buy a wedding present right where the glass is blown) This is a wonderful 4 season resort. Grounds are meticulously maintained, tennis courts, playground, fitness center/pool are all staffed by friendly locals who could not be more accommodating. Only Regret: that we didn't stay here years ago, our daughter would have loved it when she was little! Can't wait til October to enjoy Stowe again!"

"Myself and my boyfriend had a little 3-day trip here, and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Pretty close to town (Stowe, or Burlington if you want to take a 40min drive). The cabin ended up being a great retreat for us away from our technologically advanced world and back to basics with the gas stove/heating system, with some nice evening candles for lighting. Friendly service, beautiful location, cool hiking and kayaking right in the backyard, all to yourself!"

"Thank you so much, Florence, for opening your home to us. While we enjoyed exploring Vermont, we especially loved that we could return to your wonderful home every night. Thank you for delivering everything as promised and for maintaining the essentials properly like bathrooms and linens. My husband and I are both chefs in NYC and we were so happy that the kitchen was so well equipped. We had lots of delicious meals!
We had a marvelous time and many wonderful memories."
