Our 10th year!
"We've been coming to Stowe and staying at this townhouse every summer for 10 years now, so obviously we love it ! There is nothing so relaxing to me as sitting on the deck and looking over the meadow to Mt Mansfield; When we first started coming here, the bike path was one of the biggest draws; now we do much more hiking than biking but the location is still perfect. Shout out to the Green Mountain Club located on Rt 100 between Stowe and Waterbury - a great resource for anyone wanting to learn about hiking trails in the area
Brian's place is very comfortable and he's very easy to work with. The layout has the master BR downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs sharing a bathroom. The kitchen is open to the dining area which flows into the living room. Living room has 2 leather couches, TV/DVD, a fireplace and sliders to the deck. We've actually used the fireplace in August on a cool morning! On the rare hot day, a ceiling fan in the master and plug-in A/C unit upstairs are helpful. The unit has a new washer/dryer and a BBQ grill. It's nice to have supplies like laundry detergent and bath soap already in the unit - I'm surprised at some other places I've rented which don't even have a bar of soap!
The Stonybrook grounds are really beautiful, with lots of flowers and green space. There are 2 separate areas with a pool and tennis courts. The clubhouse has a hot tub, sauna, ping pong table and a tiny fitness room (rarely used from what I've seen but maybe everybody's outside in summer, and why not!
Looking forward to another visit next summer !"

"We were in Stowe for a lacrosse tournament, and this was the perfect home base! The house was in pristine condition when we arrived. We immediately felt right at home. The kids loved swimming in the river, and having their own rooms & deck in the lower level. We loved the separate master on the top level with amazing sheets. The location was ideal. We liked that the condo was an end unit which gave us some space for the kids, and dog to play. There was a market right next to the complex for any items we needed. We easily walked down town for dinners and coffee in the mornings. This home was also in the perfect spot for the tournament giving us easy access to the fields for early morning games. The owners were so accommodating, and accessible for questions. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend it to others!"

"Our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids ages 19, 17,15,and 11) just returned home after a 4 day stay at the schoolhouse. We fell in love at 1st sight with the charm and beauty of the home. It was a perfect place to call home as we explored the beautiful hiking trails and nearby Stowe and surrounding communities. It was clean, had a well-equipped kitchen and grill, and plenty of linens for us. Our 11 year old couldn't get enough of ringing the school bell which only added to the charm. Our kids also took advantage of the trampoline at the end of each day. It truly was a place to relax, slow down, and enjoy being a family together. The rural house offers beautiful views. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and dinner on the deck. The information that Florence provided regarding the house and the surrounding area was very thorough and helpful. I wish we could have taken advantage of the Farm to Table sunset dinner at the nearby Sandiwood Farm. We hope to return in the future and wouldn't hesitate to call this home again."

"My 2 girlfriends and I needed a break away from the city. We definitely found it here in Stowe. My 2 Labradors came to! The house is on a dead end road so it is extremely quiet and peaceful. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (full baths ) so that was amazing. The kitchen was very clean and bright. We used the outdoor grill one night and sat at the patio table for 8! You can easily fit 3/4 couples, there are 3 bedrooms and also a pull out sofa in the tv room downstairs. There is also a washer and dryer.
My Labradors loved Stowe, there was so much for them to do. You must try the Quiet Path (in the centre of town behind the church), Bingham Falls (just off 108 at the State Park on the right hand side of the road), and the many streams and rivers! They very much enjoyed the large garden at the house too (not fenced in).
I would certainly stay here again-as advertised it is very quiet, only 2 miles from town, loads of restaurants and shops, 2 supermarkets, ski and bike rental shops, souvenir shops and plenty of outdoor activities!
Sarah was very sweet and told me all of the fab places to go to with my labs.
Thank you very much to all. I hope to stay again!!"
