great time away with the dogs in Stowe
"We spent 4 great days at the cabin with our 2 dogs and a friend. The cabin was how we expected and worked well having the dogs with us . The fenced yard and 2 dog crates worked well and made the stay more enjoyable. Only a short walk across the road to the falls was a bonus . it was a great mix of touring Stowe and coming back to relax with the dogs watching movies with nice dinners . The BBQ worked out well we brought our own tank and left what was left of it. . We brought TASSIMO cups but the machine is a Keurig a regular coffee machine was available as well. Over all we were pleased with the cabin for the price and it worked out well for what we wanted while in Stowe .The owners addressed any questions we had ."

"This home was perfect for our two families with 4 adults and 4 kids, ranging in age from 7 to 20 yrs old. The house is very clean and well appointed and the Stowe Mtn Resort is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. There are lots of nearby restaurants if you want a night out, but we generally selected to tuck in after a long day of skiing and cook for ourselves. We found time for ice-skating and sledding in Stowe Village, and did make one trip to Piecasso for pizza and drinks, which was very enjoyable. (The sledding hill is behind the elementary school and it's a fun run, but for kids I suggest wearing ski helmets for this hill). There wasn't enough snow on the ground to do an cross-country skiing this trip but looking forward to it next time. Our hosts Janice and Lee were prompt and attentive to all our questions and concerns. We would definitely stay with them again."

"Our families enjoyed a fun winter break in this comfy home.
Five Trees has all the amenities you need for a relaxing, warm and fun-filled winter retreat. Though it was frigid outside (-19), the wood burning stove and radiant heat provided a warm setting for our fun yet relaxing vacation. The large dining area is a perfect backdrop for home cooked meals to be shared with family and friends.
This home offers three floors of living space. The lower level can accommodate your little ones or be used as a sun-filled reading area. The main living area is good for game playing, sitting by the fire enjoying conversations or simply reading and relaxing . The upper level has three clean and comfortable bedrooms and a spacious bathroom.
Our families took advantage of skiing at Stowe, hiking in the easily accessible trails, and exploring the beautiful village of Stowe and neighboring towns . We also enjoyed local area attractions such as visits to the Trapp Family Lodge and the Ben and Jerry’s factory.
Our host, Adam was attentive to all our needs and very helpful.
Thank you Adam for sharing your home with us!"

Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with our family. This was our second visit at your place and we had an unforgettable time in this piece of paradise both times.
You've been a welcoming and helpful host, addressing our questions and requests in a timely manner.
The location is secluded and serene while at the same time just a 5 min drive to Stowe center. Your house is designed, built, and furnished with great attention to detail; and you're doing a great job maintaining it. It opens up to magnificent mountain views. The house is clean and well stocked with essentials (linen, kitchen supplies, paper goods). It offers all the comforts one might need on a two-week vacation with children.
We made many precious memories at your place and the Stowe area. From hiking Camel's Hump, Pinnacle Trail, Silver Pond, Bingham Falls, and other places, biking on the bike path along Little river, canoeing in your pond, berry picking in the morning, cooking pancakes and eggs, watching Mr. Bean, getting a bite at the Green Goddess, or just hanging out. We feel at home here and will be back.
