  • Wonderful Accommodations in Stowe!

"My wife and I just hosted a family reunion, and we could not have been more pleased! We had family members travel from Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, as well as a few Vermonters! The house is equipped as advertised, there were no issues or surprises. It is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is new and well appointed. There is no need to bring anything with you except groceries and beverages. All flatware, plates, pans, coffee maker etc. are provided. The living room is huge, and there is a large leather sectional, as well as several additional chairs. Plenty of seating for all. Even though we visited in June, we did have a cool Vermont evening (45) and enjoyed sitting around the fireplace. The kids enjoyed Smores as well! (Ok, so did a few adults) We slept 11, and all were comfortable. The 6 bedrooms are all various sizes, and are a mix of king, queen, and twin beds. That combination was perfect for us. There is also a day bed in the pool room that we did not use. There are 3 full baths, and that is helpful when you are trying to get 11 people out the door for activities in the morning. The pool table was a nice bonus, as well as the hot tub. We enjoyed both. I won't get in to our daily activities, if you are planning a trip to Stowe, you already know it is beautiful year round, and the many various activities the area has to offer. We stayed busy exploring, hiking, shopping, golfing etc., and we all went to bed exhausted each night! The owner is friendly, and he was easy to communicate with throughout the reservation/rental process. It was obvious to me that he has a genuine attachment to the Stowe area, and that he wants his renters to have a great experience. There is always a certain amount of risk when you book a vacation spot for the 1st time. That was not the case here. We were completely satisfied. We will be returning at some point I am sure. I guess the only negative that I take away from the whole experience would be that Diane wants to remodel our kitchen now!"

  • Great place

"Great place. This is my third year staying here. Great location. Tons of activities for kids in the village within walking distance (rec path, malt shop, playground, restaurants). Many other outdoor activities just a short drive away."

  • Wonderful home from home

"This autumn, my husband and I, with our two adult sons and a friend spent a wonderful week in Debra’s townhouse. The facilities in the house were outstanding, just perfect for our party of five adults. We felt very much at home. It was warm, cosy and comfortable though spacious, with plenty of room for everyone. The house was exceptionally well stocked and maintained. The surrounding area was beautiful, offering breathtaking views. We walked, cycled, fished and sang from “the Sound of Music” whilst driving through the Von Trapp family estate, though regrettably we missed out on the zipline. It’s always a good idea to have something to return for and I would have no hesitation in recommending this rental. Debra was very reliable and replied almost instantly to any requests or queries. We spent three weeks travelling through New England, on tour from the UK. I can honestly say that our week in Stowe was a real highlight of our fantastic holiday. Debra, we would like to thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to stay in your superb home."

  • Perfect Location

"Great location!!! Toll House Lift is a short walk (or ride). Perfect for a 2 person getaway. Jean was very hospitable as well...She even set up the fireplace ahead of our arrival so all we had to do was light the fire after a long day on the slopes. Restaurants / Apres Ski / Shopping / Etc. are located just a short drive down the mountain...Cannot say enough about the location!"
