  • Spacious home with amazing views, entertainment and plenty of sleeping room

"We spent New Year's Eve at this home and had an incredible time. There were 9 of us and we all had beds to sleep in between the main house (4 double beds) and separate home office with large pullout couch. The main family room has a big TV, large bar, L-shaped couch and huge fireplace with plenty of firewood. There is also a ping-pong table in the basement and pool table in the home office. The kitchen has all necessary appliances and plenty of pots/pans/etc. There is a grill outside. Just a 10 minute drive to Stowe mountain and 5 mins from downtown Stowe. All-in-all an awesome home for a big group or family."

  • Nice condo with screened in porch, big tvs, and lots to offer

"We really enjoyed this cute condo in Stowe, which was nicely remodeled (much cuter than the other condos at this resort). Owner Leslie was very attentive and answered all my questions very timely. The kitchen and bedrooms were quite small but the super comfy beds and linens, 3D tv in LR, flat screen in master, lots of movies, WiFi, and the big screened in porch made up for it. Having the washer and dryer in the condo was great for midweek laundry. My parents were with us, and this particular condo had only 5 steps from the parking lot. Some of the others had many, MANY more steps up or down. This resort had lots to offer (indoor pool, game room, sauna, jacuzzi, free movie rentals, extra kitchen equipment, tennis courts, basketball court, playground, midweek towel exchange) and was in a convenient location half way between the mountain and town, off Mountain Road. Our family hiked to 3 of the area waterfalls, Bingham Falls was the favorite because of the huge (freezing cold) water hole at the base of the falls for swimming and jumping off rocks. We went to the Chin, once by auto toll road and Long Trail, but husband and son hiked Hell Brook Trail up and Long Trail down on the north end of the mountain (be sure to buy a hiking map at one of the bike shops). The shops in town were fun, but not very many. Our fav was the Mercantile with all the samples. So much to do, so little time- we didn't put a dent in the list. Very fun area for summer vaca. Could have easily spent more than a week here. Oh and the CHEESE- we totally overdosed on cheese samples at Cabot Annex."

  • Great Winter Vacation Home

"We just returned from a great weekend in Stowe. The house is in a wonderful location - a 5 minute drive to the slopes and also near town and many restaurant choices. The house itself was perfect for two families with multiple beds on the first and lower level. It has a wonderful ski lodge feel with two big fireplaces and wonderful windows to see the snowy trees. We made fires nightly in the upstairs fireplace and also loved the outdoor hot tub after a day of skiing. The owner provides you with so much helpful information about the house, the town, ski mountain, restaurants, etc. It was our first time to the area so all of his information was incredibly helpful for us. It is also a wonderfully equipped home for a rental. They provide paper products, multiple bedding options, pillows, etc, and the use of whatever is in the kitchen and firewood! When going somewhere for a few nights it is so nice not to have to worry about packing paper towels and pantry staples. We would definitely return for another ski weekend in the future. Highly recommend!"
