  • Outstanding!

"I took my friend and her children on a last minute adventure to chase waterfalls on a hot summer weekend. The owners were extremely accommodating and patient with our spontaneous plans. It meant so much to her because she's a single parent and doesn't have the means to take vacations. We couldn't find a place to stay anywhere and this was our last hope. Turned out to be so much fun and I wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else. The tree house is a perfect name for it. The owners obviously put a lot of love into it. Thank you!"

  • Native VT

"We had a great experience! We are a family of 6 and this unit sleeps 6 - so it was a little tight. However, the unit is clean, the beds were very comfortable, it was well stocked, there is plenty of parking right in front of the entrance, and there was a nice lawn space where the kids could run around within view behind the unit. There is so much to do at Top Notch itself - the resort is fabulous and this unit's location is wonderful since it is only steps away from the pool/spa/restaurants - plus the Stowe/Smuggler's area has so much to offer that we really only slept there and used the unit itself as a transfer station, so it was perfect. We were there for a lacrosse tournament, but extended our stay for a few days to enjoy the area. I am not giving it 5 stars because, while there are 2 full baths, they are both upstairs in the 2 bedrooms and there is no 1/2 bath on the main level. Also, a few little things - for instance - the wall a/c units (which were perfectly adequate from a cooling standpoint) were somewhat loud w/rattling vents. We also wanted to open the windows and enjoy the fresh mountain air, but the windows did not have screens (the two sets of sliding doors did have screens). Again, little things. The owners excel at communication and promptly provided us with numerous local contacts (which we fortunately did not need b/c everything went smoothly) plus all the information we needed in terms of logistics, etc. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we are considering a return visit! Some faves: Arbortrek Canopy Adventures/Pie-Casso - they also deliver!/Sushi Yoshi (we love the one at Killington, too!)/Mi Casa, for kids and adults/I.C. Scoops - yummmm/The Harvest Market for coffee, baked items, upscale picnic foods/Stowe Craft & Design/the Alpine Slide/the gondola ride to the top/Bingham Falls - the list is endless!"

  • Wonderful condo!

"This is a beautiful condo. It's well maintained and has charming decor. The back deck is lovely! The kitchen is well supplied with most any kind of pan and utensil to cook anything your heart desires. And there are many charming restaurants and shops nearby. The views from the front deck and the whole setting there is cozy, magnificent and perfectly Vermont! This is from someone who grew up in Vermont and holds it dear to my heart. We would highly recommend "Skyview" condo to anyone."

  • Perfect spot for exploring Stowe and Green Mountains

"Loved our stay at the condo! Being able to walk out the door right into town and the recreation path was the biggest factor in choosing this spot, and we did it throughout the days we were there. Mac's Grocery Store saw us daily. The condo was very comfortable, particularly the master bedroom (great mattress) and the gentle roar of the river was soothing. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. Would definitely stay here again, and maybe in the winter next time! While in the area we took the Ben & Jerry's Factory Tour (pretty cool), ziplined through the Green Mtns. via ArborTrek Adventures (amazing), visited Burlington and soaked in the beauty of the area. Loved our time in Vermont!"

Stowe Lodging Is Easy and Convenient

Getting around the village is not a problem whether you have a car or not. There is a free shuttle that runs between the village and the mountain which is ideal for skiers and hikers throughout the year. However, if you want to get out of your Stowe lodging choice and see the area, it may be best to rent a car or drive your own on this Vermont vacation.
