  • Stowe LAX weekend

"Very quiet, private cabin, convenient to all Stowe has to offer. The owner is on property and one of the loveliest people I have ever met! It was nice to have a kitchen to make our own meals because getting into a restaurant on lacrosse weekend is crazy! Also nice to have a washer and dryer."

  • Nice condo with screened in porch, big tvs, and lots to offer

"We really enjoyed this cute condo in Stowe, which was nicely remodeled (much cuter than the other condos at this resort). Owner Leslie was very attentive and answered all my questions very timely. The kitchen and bedrooms were quite small but the super comfy beds and linens, 3D tv in LR, flat screen in master, lots of movies, WiFi, and the big screened in porch made up for it. Having the washer and dryer in the condo was great for midweek laundry. My parents were with us, and this particular condo had only 5 steps from the parking lot. Some of the others had many, MANY more steps up or down. This resort had lots to offer (indoor pool, game room, sauna, jacuzzi, free movie rentals, extra kitchen equipment, tennis courts, basketball court, playground, midweek towel exchange) and was in a convenient location half way between the mountain and town, off Mountain Road. Our family hiked to 3 of the area waterfalls, Bingham Falls was the favorite because of the huge (freezing cold) water hole at the base of the falls for swimming and jumping off rocks. We went to the Chin, once by auto toll road and Long Trail, but husband and son hiked Hell Brook Trail up and Long Trail down on the north end of the mountain (be sure to buy a hiking map at one of the bike shops). The shops in town were fun, but not very many. Our fav was the Mercantile with all the samples. So much to do, so little time- we didn't put a dent in the list. Very fun area for summer vaca. Could have easily spent more than a week here. Oh and the CHEESE- we totally overdosed on cheese samples at Cabot Annex."

  • Wonderful condo/resort

"We enjoyed our stay greatly. The condo was just as it was described and served us well during our week stay. The service at the hotel was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better location. We'd definitely stay again!"

  • Wonderful Accommodations in Stowe!

"My wife and I just hosted a family reunion, and we could not have been more pleased! We had family members travel from Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, as well as a few Vermonters! The house is equipped as advertised, there were no issues or surprises. It is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is new and well appointed. There is no need to bring anything with you except groceries and beverages. All flatware, plates, pans, coffee maker etc. are provided. The living room is huge, and there is a large leather sectional, as well as several additional chairs. Plenty of seating for all. Even though we visited in June, we did have a cool Vermont evening (45) and enjoyed sitting around the fireplace. The kids enjoyed Smores as well! (Ok, so did a few adults) We slept 11, and all were comfortable. The 6 bedrooms are all various sizes, and are a mix of king, queen, and twin beds. That combination was perfect for us. There is also a day bed in the pool room that we did not use. There are 3 full baths, and that is helpful when you are trying to get 11 people out the door for activities in the morning. The pool table was a nice bonus, as well as the hot tub. We enjoyed both. I won't get in to our daily activities, if you are planning a trip to Stowe, you already know it is beautiful year round, and the many various activities the area has to offer. We stayed busy exploring, hiking, shopping, golfing etc., and we all went to bed exhausted each night! The owner is friendly, and he was easy to communicate with throughout the reservation/rental process. It was obvious to me that he has a genuine attachment to the Stowe area, and that he wants his renters to have a great experience. There is always a certain amount of risk when you book a vacation spot for the 1st time. That was not the case here. We were completely satisfied. We will be returning at some point I am sure. I guess the only negative that I take away from the whole experience would be that Diane wants to remodel our kitchen now!"
