"This house has it all! Central air? Yes. Central vacuum? yes. Central stereo? Yes. Huge outdoor hot tub? yes. Steam shower? yes. Jacuzzi bath? yes. Flat screen televisions in every room? yes. Ping pong and foosball in the basement? yes. Laundry? YES YES YES!
It's near Topnotch and is close enough to village to be handy when you run out of something at the last minute and remote enough that you still feel like you're in the country. Ski mountains are just up the road as are the hiking trails and Bingham Falls.
The home is well-managed and the few things that came up during our visit were handled swiftly by the local agent.
Really, this is the perfect home for two families (up to four parents and four kids) vacationing together...two of the bedrooms have big beds for the grown-ups and the third bedroom has two twins and a full. One thing to keep in mind is that the master bedroom is up a separate set of stairs (above the garage) from the rest of the bedrooms (2nd floor of home)..if your kids are quite young, this might pose a problem."

"We rented the Timber Frame to celebrate my 40th birthday. Four couples, stayed including two small dogs. Bruce and Donna's house is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need to make your stay comfy; you really don't have to even need to leave! Everyone loved the hot tub and sauna, and it was nice to just relax in front of the fireplace. We played board games and enjoyed eating at the Prohibition Pig in downtown Waterbury. The dogs loved being able to run around in the snow (a nice change from the sidewalks of Boston). We highly recommend this house for anyone who's interested in the full Vermont experience. And we are definitely making Waterbury a yearly tradition -- and hopefully staying at the Timber Frame."

"My husband and I stayed for one week in this adorable, comfortable & quiet house.
When we arrived, there was quite a bit of snow that accumulated, but the driveway, walkway and front porch were all cleared and the house was easily accessible.
I have to say "it felt like home" from the moment we opened the front door and entered the home; and it felt that way until our departure.
It is well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Firewood, pots & pans, coffee maker, washer & dryer....if you have it in your own home, it was here in this home. It was clean and ready to be enjoyed.
It was so wonderful!
We had the opportunity to meet the owners as they came by for some ski items, and they were very friendly and welcoming. It was a pleasure working with them from the first email to our final text saying goodbye.
This was not our first trip to Stowe, but this was the first place we had stayed where everything was spot-on and as described by the owner.
We will not stay anywhere else when we plan our trips to Stowe.
You will not be disappointed if you to stay here. You will be disappointed if you DON'T stay here!"

"Great place. This is my third year staying here. Great location. Tons of activities for kids in the village within walking distance (rec path, malt shop, playground, restaurants). Many other outdoor activities just a short drive away."
