  • Lovely house in fabulous setting

"Two families stayed in this house for MLK weekend. There were 8 of us but the house could have easily accommodated more. The house is absolutely incredible. New built, charming, clean, tons of windows letting in sunlight. It is very upbeat and bright, yet cozy at the same time. Although it is spacious, it was still easy to keep an eye on the children as they loved hanging out in the loft complete with a hammock. The house is very clean, with spacious bedrooms and spotless bathrooms. The location of the house is also worth noting. It is on a private island that is close to everything yet "away from it all" as there are only three homes on the island. The rushing river by the house is soothing and the perfect "white noise" for sleeping at night. Rob is very easy to work with and was very considerate. Our only issue is that he doesn't rent it out often enough =( My kids are already asking about when they can return. We went to Stratton which was a quick drive. Highly recommend the house for the location, house itself, and the lovely setting!"

  • NYC guest

"This is our second time staying at this house for a long winter weekend. The owner is great and very pleasant to deal with. We had some major ice on the driveway one of the days and the maintenance guy immediately took care of the situation. The house is well stocked with nice pans, linens, extra blankets and lots of firewood in the garage. I love the two living rooms. You can watch TV in a room or just relax in the other living room to the side. The house is about a 10 minute drive to Stratton mountain. We can't wait for our next trip and to stay here again."

  • Great Place - Close to Everything!

"You could not ask for a better location. You are right at the bottom of the main lift and gondola and a 5 minute walk to any shop or store in the village The unit itself was very clean and comfortable. The only negative thing I will say is the unit faces away from the mountain and there's not a great view, but it does not matter much since you are out on the mountain all day anyway. I will definitely be back next ski season!"

  • Perfect family ski chalet

"We came with family group of four teenage boys and four adults for a week of skiing and relaxing, the tree tops location is perfect for ski in ski out fun, plus there is a shuttle running every half hour to the base lodge. Artie the shuttle driver was very helpful, and accommodating. The chalet was absolutely beautiful decorated in winter themed accessories. With the wood fireplace that warmed the chalet, and a great well equipped kitchen for our cozy après ski dinners we found everything perfect. If you haven't been to Stratton this is a good beginner ski resort! as they have an excellent ski school and quaint little town. Or for more advanced this location is accessible to lifts and skiing for all levels Highly recommend this. And Christina the owner was exceptionally accommodating too."
