"We have rented the house twice and each time we left we knew we would be back. The location is good, close to the mountains at the end of a private road just off the access road to Sugarbush North, perfect for walking the dogs. Each time we rented the house was clean and well equipped with no surprises. For our family with dogs and older kids, it was just what we needed, including a very nice hot tub, a good size living room for all to socialize in, and a room downstairs for kids to get away by themselves. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we called with questions."

"We just completed our week stay at this wonderful log house. The house is immaculate and the yard and plants were just gorgeous. High quality kitchen amenities made our cooking adventures even better. Our hosts were super responsive and made us feel very welcome. The Mad River Valley has a vast array of fun things to do and we ran out of time, before we ran out of activities. We rented Mtn Bikes for the week and rode Blueberry Lake trails, swam in the Mad River, hiked and attended a great music festival. it was hard to leave and we plan to be back next year. I highly recommend this property if you are visiting the area."

"A few friends and I stayed here during mud season and enjoyed it. We were in town for Lawson's Finest Liquids 7th Anniversary Market/Party in nearby Waitsfield, where the beer was excellent - the whole surrounding area from Warren up through Waterbury, Hardwick and the Northeast Kingdom has amazing craft beer and spirits. The weather was nice enough to eat on the back deck just off the kitchen/main living room. We also took a dip in the hot tub which is right outside the garage (other side of house from the deck) and has a firepit ready and waiting to dry you off when you're done.
Ping pong in the garage was cool too.
Upstairs bedroom and bath were good. Middle level (it's a split level house) had two good living rooms, one of which shares an open concept with the dining area and kitchen (that opens up to the deck). Full bath on mid level too.
We mostly avoided the lower level since it had a musty smell. The tenant above the garage and the owners checked on it for us, and to them it was a normal basement/old house smell so we could have been overreacting. The owners and the housekeeper were extremely responsive to our concerns about the smell and had smell absorbing bags ("damp rid") at the house which we used to try to mask the smell."

"This house was everything we hoped it would be. On its own (beautifully landscaped) lot with plenty of privacy, the house is quietly tucked away amidst endless farms and rolling fields, with mountain views in the distance. The house itself is comfortable, clean, and remarkably well stocked- we cooked all weekend and had everything we needed waiting for us. The owner was beyond accommodating- she really worked to make the whole process easy and seamless. We had a great time exploring Waitsfield, and made several trips to Burlington and to Camel's Hump for hiking. If you're looking for a nice place to unplug, look no further."
