"This is our 5th time to stay here. We love the warm and cozy feel of home. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of beds and bathrooms. Very clean. Close proximity to farmers market, restaurants and hiking trails. Perfect for large groups that like private bedroom space and a really cool bunking room for traveling with kids and teenagers."

"The Mad River Valley is quintessential Vermont. Our small family (parents and 10-year-old son) happily spent a 3-day weekend here in October 2015 while in Vermont to visit family in Montpelier, a scenic drive of about 35 minutes away. The house felt warm and welcoming -- it lacked for nothing -- and we appreciated the owner's efficiency and thoughtfulness. We'd love to come back and stay longer."

"We are 10 Norwich University alumnae, class of '64. This place was perfect for our annual trip back to the area. It was clean, comfortable and well maintained. It has everything you need for a carefree stay. Charlie, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with. We've been doing this trip for many years and this is the best place I've found. No one had any complaints. It's simply a great old house. You'll love it. We'll be back."

"We enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway with the family at this beautiful house in Waitsfield. Close to Mad River and Sugarbush, the location could not be more ideal. The setting is wonderful surrounded by 20 acres and close to hiking and cross country ski trails. The house is pristine with a great kitchen and a great fireplace (critical!). Lots of bedrooms and bunks for adults and kids. Great front porch for breathing the fresh air and enjoying the views."
