"What a wonderful home in a gorgeous location. The property was perfect for our children to explore nature and run around. This home is warm and welcoming, beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked. Our family enjoyed a long weekend celebrating our daughter's graduation from Norwich University. If you're a runner, you will enjoy challenging runs in breathtaking scenery.....right out the front door! Working with the owner was both pleasant and seamless. The rapid response to all my inquiries was remarkable. The property is a perfect 10 and as is the owner~"

"This condo is very close to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski areas - even Stowe would be an easy day trip.
The condo is very comfortable - it was below 0 every night we were there (-20 one night), but the gas heater kept the whole place toasty. The kitchen is fully equipped and all the appliances worked well. One minor quibble - the water in the downstairs bathroom is hooked up backwards - you have to turn the faucet to Cold to get hot water - very important if you take a shower down there! We would not hesitate to go there again."

"A few friends and I stayed here during mud season and enjoyed it. We were in town for Lawson's Finest Liquids 7th Anniversary Market/Party in nearby Waitsfield, where the beer was excellent - the whole surrounding area from Warren up through Waterbury, Hardwick and the Northeast Kingdom has amazing craft beer and spirits. The weather was nice enough to eat on the back deck just off the kitchen/main living room. We also took a dip in the hot tub which is right outside the garage (other side of house from the deck) and has a firepit ready and waiting to dry you off when you're done.
Ping pong in the garage was cool too.
Upstairs bedroom and bath were good. Middle level (it's a split level house) had two good living rooms, one of which shares an open concept with the dining area and kitchen (that opens up to the deck). Full bath on mid level too.
We mostly avoided the lower level since it had a musty smell. The tenant above the garage and the owners checked on it for us, and to them it was a normal basement/old house smell so we could have been overreacting. The owners and the housekeeper were extremely responsive to our concerns about the smell and had smell absorbing bags ("damp rid") at the house which we used to try to mask the smell."

"We have rented the house twice and each time we left we knew we would be back. The location is good, close to the mountains at the end of a private road just off the access road to Sugarbush North, perfect for walking the dogs. Each time we rented the house was clean and well equipped with no surprises. For our family with dogs and older kids, it was just what we needed, including a very nice hot tub, a good size living room for all to socialize in, and a room downstairs for kids to get away by themselves. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we called with questions."
