Recent Sugarbush, Mad River Glen reviews

  • Great family get away!

"Had a wonderful 3 day stay with our young adult children and their significant others. Fun day of skiing at Sugarbush, went Icelandic Horse back riding close by. House was very comfortable, well laid out, room for all and close to everything. Owners very nice. Will be back"

  • Wonderful Long Weekend at Snowsnest

"What a cozy, well-appointed, place to stay while visiting the Mad River Valley, VT! We gathered here for a small family reunion and 40th birthday party for our son. The open floor plan of the living area was just perfect for family and guests. The gas fireplace and radiant heat floors kept us warm and relaxed as we watched the snow falling outside. The kitchen was great for cooking and we made good use of all the supplies that the owners had so graciously left in place for our use. We truly enjoyed our stay at Snowsnest. The three year old enjoyed the reading nook, books for her age group, the bunk beds, and toys in her room. The adults were very comfortable and warm in their bedrooms. Next time we'll bring our dog. There is even an outside doghouse for her use. This place has everything!"

  • Charming

"This cottage was a wonderful place for our family to stay on our summer vacation. It had plenty of room for us to spread out when we wanted to. We enjoyed it's proximity to the local tourist attractions while still maintaining the local feel. Our family enjoyed swimming in the river, visiting Ben & Jerry's (several times), hiking in the Mad River Valley and touring Burlington. Nothing was more than an hour away. We loved the vintage stove and having fresh spring water on tap! The kids loved playing in the yard when we could get them away from the board games & puzzles that were provided. This home was 100% ready for us to just move in for the week. Deb & Dick provided great cookware to use and every utensil one could need. We can't wait until the next time we are able to visit."

  • Wonderful view, fun bright open log cabin

"We enjoyed staying here - the house was great - very comfortable and well set up. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The kids (19 and 22) loved the open upstairs hallway that overlooked the living room - they thought the house was very cool. We appreciated the great info Rob sent ahead of our trip. The view of Sugarbush and surroundings mountains was beautiful. A lovely place to spend a few days. Thank you!"
