"Had a great stay and 2 days of great spring skiing (walked to chairlift). The condo was very clean, comfortable and had great views. Beautiful fireplace and nice relaxed atmosphere. My wife and I really liked staying there and Jeff was very helpful and made everything go smoothly. It was also really nice to have a clean, modern, up-to-date kitchen. Thanks. Dave & Kristin."

"We absolutely adored our time at this lakefront cottage. It was more than we could ever have asked for. We spent 4 nights over New Years here and fully unplugged. I honestly didn't know what to expect at the cottage as the pictures didn't show much, but there's no way that pictures could do justice to this well appointed and thought out place. We stopped for groceries in Colebrook, NH on our way up, and we got many different spices and condiments, none of which we needed as the kitchen is impressively stocked. We had grand plans of snowmobiling and skiing the week away, but the weather had other plans. It rained the entire week before we arrived so the snow was hard packed. I was really bummed out on my drive up all the way from South Carolina, but quickly stopped worrying about it upon arrival. We had more fun exploring the area, visiting Montreal, going on hikes, cooking dinners, and playing silly board games with the wood stove burning than any amount of snowmobiling could have brought. We were so sad to leave and we're already planning on our return trip to enjoy this great spot in the warm weather this summer! Thanks to Joannie for helping us out with anything we could possibly need on our trip and to Judy for sharing her lovely place with us."

"This past weekend we stayed at Dan's condo in Dover, VT. We were 3 families, consisting of 6 adults and 9 kids (ages ranging from 22 - 8). The condo is extremely comfortable, beautiful, well maintained and has a great mountain view. We all immediately felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door even though it was our first time visiting. There was plenty of space, 3 full baths, several bedrooms and beds for everyone. The younger kids really enjoyed sleeping in the loft and everyone loved the ping pong table on the lower level as well as the many games located inside the coffee table. There is a washer/dryer on the lower level and the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of dishware, utensils , wine glasses and pots/pans. There is great counter space, updated appliances and a large dining table. The gas fireplace is fabulous! Overall we had a very positive experience and as we packing up to leave we all said that this will be a yearly weekend event. Thank you Dan for sharing your beautiful condo with us!"

"The location of this property was perfect for what we were looking for. The price was better than renting a hotel room and it gave us room to entertain. The old has has lots of elegance and charm from yesteryear and the furnace really does keep the house toasty warm. We spent most of our time in the huge eat in kitchen.
We had asked about the firewood situation when we reserved and was told there would be some there but when we got there there was none. I mentioned it to Gina and her SO is having medical issues and said we could get some :(. Luckily someone brought us some incase the lights went out (they had gone out our first night due to a fire in Chester Depot).
A few draw backs were having to bring in our own sheets and towels. When we got there, the cupboards were full of towels with a note saying if you use their persons items you don't get your cleaning deposit back.....that was okay since we were prepared. However a leak in the upstairs sink did manage yo get them wet. Also, one of the full beds has been changed to a queen.
We did not have cellphone service at the house although some of the locals that came to visit did. This is not Ginas fault. It is just a drawback and should be noted. I think the service there was Verizon.
All in all it was a very good trip and I think Gina is a terrific person! I think her caretaker should have been taking care of these issues for her, especially given the circumstances.
I would recommend this place to anyone that wanted to be in the heart of snow country and didn't mind the quirks of staying in an old house!!"
