"We spend one splendid week here in this lovely cabin and are sad to leave!
This is such a charming, grown up, exquisite hide-away....
I hope every renter will treat this cabin with the respect it deserves.
We feel very blessed that Michael extents his lovely dwelling to the public.
There is so much peacefulness and old days charm and no end to the extensive literature that will leave you inspired!

"This past weekend, myself and 15 other adults rented this beautiful home and went skiing and snow boarding at Okemo Mountain. I don't even know where to begin. For starters, if I could give this home 100 stars I would. The pictures online don't even come close to showing how absolutely perfect this house it. It is so spacious, each of the 8 couples all had their own space. The layout of the home is just breathe taking. The windows and fire place in the living room blew my mind.
My fiancé and I had the master suite. Oh my goodnes, the bathroom is STUNNING! Our friends who recently came back from their honeymoon in St. Lucia said this bathroom was nicer then theirs at the resort. The bedrooms are so big, and the beds are incredibly comfortable! The house is so clean and they have everything you need from ipod hook ups to pots and pans. We cooked every night, so much fun utilizing that amazing kitchen.
Okemo Mountain is about 10 mins, just down the road. Super super easy to get to!
The home owner Margie was absolutely wonderful to book with. Made all the arrangements very easy, and was always available to contact.
Oh, and the floors through out the entire home are all heated...how cool!!
We are already planning a trip for next year. Without a doubt one of the most memorable weekends of my life =)"

"We stayed in this house with my parents and enjoyed it very much. It is well laid out, is light and uplifting and in a great location with regard to Arlington, VT. It is right on the Battenkill River. We could bike ride into Arlington, Kayak many miles of the river and fly fish adjacent to the property. Although on 313, traffic sounds did not detract from the experience. We have stayed in 3 other houses in VT over the past 8 years and if available, we would be returning to this one next year. A word about the Battenkill. It has the reputation of being one of the most difficult fly fishing rivers in the world and that reputation is well deserved. However, the owner recommended Tom Goodman a fly fishing guide with Battenkill Anglers who has fished the river for 40 years as a guide and I hired him. I would highly recommend anyone planning on fly fishing this river to Tom. He helped unlock mysteries of the Battenkill for me that I have not, in 8 years been able to do on my own. Again, we will go right back to this house and to Tom next year if both are available."

"We stayed over New Years! Fabulous house. Everything very new. The master suite is on first level and has a great bath. There is a living area adjacent to the large kitchen which is very nice, the living area here has a pull out sofa which isn't stated in the listing - we didn't use it but it is there. Two other bedrooms on this main floor, with another bath. Downstairs there is a game room which has air hockey and a pool table, and in a another less finished area there is ping pong. There are two well appointed bedrooms downstairs, and a futon in the game room. Both downstair bedrooms have two twins, and one of those rooms also has a futon. We were 3 couples each with 2 kids, and everyone had plenty of room. Kids really enjoyed all the game tables. downstairs TV in game room too. All baths new. Whole house is very light, lots of sun through big windows. It is very close to Okemo. 5 minute ride to base lodge parking at Okemo. The owners could not be nicer. Very accessible, called to check we were OK, called after our stay to see if it met our expectations."
