"I came up with a group of 15 for a long weekend over new years and this house was the perfect place for a big group gathering. It's enormous, there were far more beds than we used. The kitchen and living areas are bigger than they appear in photos. The house is very well stocked -- the kitchen is great and the property is awesome. There's a firepit next to the hot tub which was SO much fun -- everyone could be having fun outside at the same time, and sharp rivalries developed between the group in the hot tub and the hardcore cold-lovers by the firepit ;). And the area truly has something for everyone -- Mad River and Sugarbush feel like they're just around the corner. There's masses of cross country skiing, and for hiking, there's an access to the Long Trail ten minutes drive from the house. We loved it. Overall the house is in great condition (a friend with a very severe mold allergy had trouble in the basement, but felt fine in the rest of the house), and it's a total bargain for the number of people it fits, all the amenities, and being so close to skiing!"

"The StromHaus supplied our group with a wonderful place to stay during our weekend at Jay Peak. It was perfect for 3 couples, a toddler and two dogs to stay without feeling over crowded. The proximity to the mountain was the best and dinner at Jay Village Inn completely exceeded our expectations.
The only upgrades I would suggest are:
Better mattresses on the sofa beds and a TV in the common area upstairs. We were there for only two nights so it was not a huge deal but those mattresses could use some cushion.
We will be back!"

"We had the pleasure of staying here for two weeks with our two children and dog, and we felt welcomed and truly enjoyed our stay. This is the quintessential Vermont experience; gorgeous property with a pond, fishing and activities close by and wonderful hosts who took care of us and helped to inform us about activities in the area as well. The King size beds in each of the three bedrooms are incredibly comfortable, and the house is well stocked with everything one would need and the Wifi access is quick and reliable. Close to Stowe and Jay Peak, the location was nice and quiet on a dirt road, yet accessible to the different places we wanted to see. Be sure to take time to get to know the goats, and "Drifter", the owners' dog who is friendly and very welcoming.
We truly could not have asked for more, and we will definitely be back in the future!!"

"This is our 2nd year back @ the house & the 9th yr of our group ski trip. This is the best house we have ever stayed @. Nick is the best owner to ever deal with. I highly recommend this house. This house is beautiful. There is so much to do after a day of skiing, and is located to go to a few different ski resorts. U will not b disappointed with this house or owner."
