"Our extended family came to town for a birthday celebration. The former Misty Mountain Lodge was a perfect setting for the group to stay. The bedrooms are well appointed and there are great spots for large group hang outs including the awesome gourmet kitchen, yard and living room. The location has a great view and is close to Mt. Snow, the village of Wilmington, lakes and some great hikes. Overall, terrific spot and responsive owner and caretaker. Would definitely use it again."

"This is an absolute gem of a place, the kitchen has everything you will ever need, there is a warm wood burning stove and central heating which makes the house very comfortable in the cold Vermont winter. The living space has very large picture windows with stunning views to the mountains. Sipping on a drink watching a spectacular sun set was the perfect way to end a day’s skiing. The location is perfect as a base to the numerous cross country ski areas in North Vermont. Lisa is a great host and we are already thinking about booking for next year!"

"The apartment was very clean. The air conditioner worked well. The bedroom comfortably slept two, and the fold-out futon couch was comfortable for two smallish people. Rebecca was very friendly and offered use of the pool, hot tub and trampoline. We stayed with our 14lb chihuahua mix and he was happy too. The location was very convenient for driving to Burlington and Shelburne (about 20-30 min). The shower worked well & there was plenty of hot water. The dining area was pretty and very functional. The microwave and refrigerator worked well, and there were plenty of condiments. We used the tv and wifi during some rainy weather and both worked great. Sheets, towels, extra pillows and blankets were provided & were in good condition and comfortable. We were very happy with our stay."

"Our spring skiing trip was better than we thought possible. First time to Smuggs and we were impressed by the range of easy to difficult trails, great snow conditions and the excellent ski school. Our 4 year old had a blast in the full day camps. Loved the magic show. Great view onto the slopes from the condo and plenty of living room space made it easy to take a long lunch or call it an early day and stay in to play with the kids. Only downside of all condos at Smuggs is that it is a hike to get to Madonna and Sterling peaks, but you can take the shuttle if the green traverse trail is too tiring. We'd surely come back."
