"My husband and I greatly enjoyed our week's stay at this beautiful spacious home. in the dining room, living room, and screened in porch, we could pretend that we were citizens of Vermont shortly after the American Revolution-enjoying fabulous views of flowers and lawns. In the family room, kitchen and bathroms we enjoyed all the beneits of reently updated features and 21st century technology. Nancy and Tom, the owners, gave us great tips on surrounding attractions, from restaurants, to the farmer's market, to a great hiking trail with breathtaking views. We enjoyed a side trip (15 minutes) to the Weston Priory and the Vermont Country Store. We highly recommend this home to one and all!"

"We had a wonderful week at this lovely condo. The space is comfortable and well furnished and the kitchen well-stocked for all the big dinners we made. The location right off the Grammy Jay trail made it super easy for the kids to come in for lunch every day. I loved the spacious 'mud room' which kept the wet jackets and boots organized and out of the way. We enjoyed skating at the Ice Haus, slope-side fireworks and 'teen night' at the water park. All in all, a perfect rental. We would definitely come back. The owner, Rose, is very easy to contact and she always responds promptly."

"Wonderful stay at a delightful cabin on Lake Amherst. The owner was wonderful in answering multiple questions prior to our stay. The cabin is very well situated for access to swimming, fishing, hiking and local villages and towns. A wonderful long weekend in a delightful spot!"

"Two primary conditions in looking for a vacation home in Vermont in the fall were country charm with modern amenities, and open space for dogs to run around. This home greatly exceeded our expectations.
The views from the home brought us peace and tranquility looking out onto the woods, the field, or the pond. The Jenn-Air gas range was a treat to use, and the kitchen was well stocked with basic necessities. The house was cozy and comfortable and wonderfully quiet.
We enjoyed walking out the front door down to the road that followed the river and continuing on that (dead end) road to a park. We discovered the trail in the park connected to other trails and a park that follow the river for many more miles. Most times on these trails we had the place to ourselves.
As much as the house is nicely located off the beaten path, it is situated not far by car to restaurants, quaint villages, and many more beautiful hiking trails (from flatlander to highlander). It was amazing to visit the Orvis flagship store in the nearby town of Manchester. The two Vermont Country Stores were not too far away.
We'll be sure to bring our bicycles the next time so we can cover more ground. The dogs (and us) can't wait to return."
