"What a lovely, lovely stay. Six adults, two large dogs, three kitties and a whole lot of fun! Warren was the most gracious host! He left flowers, wine and cheese for us at the property and of course Ben & Jerry ice-cream! He was also very friendly and flexible during our booking process, answering all questions patiently, adjusting to our requirements and allowing the cats to come and stay! He was also very helpful and promptly came over when a fuse blew out the lights and the space heater, and later swung by with his aunt to party with us (although just for a little bit). He loves dogs so our pups welcomed him excitedly!
This is a very pretty location right on the lake and we had an absolute blast. We cooked a LOT of food, saw a LOT of Amazon and Netflix tv, and played a LOT in the snow. The deck with the propane grill was a super-hit and well utilized by both humans and dogs. The dogs especially had boisterous fun, running around leash free in the snow and even swimming in the lake although it was in the twenties with wind chill. The house had ample space, a roaring fireplace and enough sleeping areas for the whole party.
The only drawback was that the central heating wasn't up and running at the time of our stay, so we had to make do with the fireplace and another heater. Upstairs was nice but the ground floor was freezing the day before we left, with gale level lake winds and very cold temperature. But we had so much fun sitting around the fireplace and bundling up in layers of quilts, that I cannot but give this place a 5 star!"

"My party of 16 people stayed in the farmhouse over this winter weekend for some local skiing at Smuggler's Notch, and this farmhouse was everything we expected and MORE!
Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably and plenty of entertainment to keep your whole group occupied- from game boards to pool tables to foosball. After all that fun, we were able to start up a beautiful fire outside for some smores and group bonding. Like I said before, this house is AMAZING!
Lastly, I appreciated how Angela quickly responded to my questions and requests so quickly and with genuine care for ensure we have everything we needed prior to heading to the farmhouse.
I definitely recommend you book this property for your next group ski trip."

"If you are looking for a property that has a big kitchen that opens into a wonderful living room where lots of folks can gather around a terrific fireplace than this home is for you! It has a warm rustic feel which is particularly welcoming to families and pets. The house is well cared for but not immaculate, which allowed me to relax more than worry. I had a great time here with my family this season. The owners are helpful and responsive."

"We had three generations of our family from five different states gathering in Quechee to celebrate a wedding and this house could not have met our needs better. We rented both the main house and the guest house so we had plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. It was so much better than renting hotel rooms. Not only did we save money on rooms and meals but it gave us a comfortable place and relax and catchup with one another between wedding activities. After our long journeys it was nice to arrive at a clean home that was all set for us. We found the kitchen well stocked with enough dishes and silverware to supply our large group. The home is just minutes from the Quechee Inn where the wedding was held so it was very convenient traveling to and from the venue. It is also very close to the Quechee Club with its great golfing and skiing opportunities. It was a little past prime leaf season but we still enjoyed a lovely walk along the roads of this quiet country neighborhood. With its million dollar view of the valley, fireplace and screened in porch this home is a great vacation spot any time of year. I don’t know who arranged for the hot air balloon to sail through the valley on Saturday morning but that was a great treat for all of us. We would definitely rent this home again."
