"A few friends and I stayed here during mud season and enjoyed it. We were in town for Lawson's Finest Liquids 7th Anniversary Market/Party in nearby Waitsfield, where the beer was excellent - the whole surrounding area from Warren up through Waterbury, Hardwick and the Northeast Kingdom has amazing craft beer and spirits. The weather was nice enough to eat on the back deck just off the kitchen/main living room. We also took a dip in the hot tub which is right outside the garage (other side of house from the deck) and has a firepit ready and waiting to dry you off when you're done.
Ping pong in the garage was cool too.
Upstairs bedroom and bath were good. Middle level (it's a split level house) had two good living rooms, one of which shares an open concept with the dining area and kitchen (that opens up to the deck). Full bath on mid level too.
We mostly avoided the lower level since it had a musty smell. The tenant above the garage and the owners checked on it for us, and to them it was a normal basement/old house smell so we could have been overreacting. The owners and the housekeeper were extremely responsive to our concerns about the smell and had smell absorbing bags ("damp rid") at the house which we used to try to mask the smell."

"I just came back from spending 4 nights at this incredible house. There were 14 of us on a ski vacation to Pico, 4 families with our young adult children in there 20's. Upon arrival I was so happy to see a beautiful house with beautiful snow covered property. Inside the house was spotless and huge! Everything you need is there from spices to extra linens and lots of extra towels. The pictures on the website are spot on but the house is even lovelier in person. There are two refrigerators, one upstairs, one downstairs which was great because we made our dinners ahead of time so we were free after skiing to relax by the cozy fireplace or wood stove. James is the local manager and he couldn't be nicer, there for anything you may need.
Joan is the owner and is terrific in her correspondence, always getting back to me quickly and effeciently, never minding any questions I had.
We skied Pico which we have been to before and LOVE. Conditions were fantastic and there never seems to be a long line. I love the people there. The best part is, that the house is about 6 minutes away!
I would go back to this house in a minute and I hope I get the chance to. Do not hesitate to stay here!"

"3 generations of our family enjoyed this lovely home while attending college graduation activities. We kayaked and paddle boarded across Lake Champlain and spotted an eagle's nest with three eagles on the New York side. The home was perfect for family dinners on the large screened in porch. We enjoyed the sunsets from the Adirondack chairs and spent most of our time in the yard enjoying the scenery and weather. The home is just that, a comfortable place to relax and unwind. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and fun. The cottage was a great place for my parents to stay and be a part of the family activities yet escape to their own private quarters. The house is beautifully decorated and there is lots of space to enjoy and relax. The town of Vergennes is a short car ride away to get your groceries and anything you forgot to pack. It is also a great place to dine, shop and bring the family for ice cream! We also explored the surrounding area and fell in love with the people, mountains and the beautiful farm lands! We have already decided to come back next year!"

"This apartment was very cozy and perfect for our vacation. There is a well-stocked full kitchen, small clean bathroom, and two cozy bedrooms. The living room had a fireplace that we never got around to heating up but is a great feature. We were able to quickly stop for lunch and keep on skiing - it's a 100 yards or so from the trail. The owners were very accommodating and helpful."
